I was there on the 3rd night, and managed to get a couple of cheap restricted view seats for the last night , from one of the roadies. I've seen Bowie many times, but the Apollo was SPECIAL ,as anyone old enough here will testify. The greatest rock venue in the world.
I was outside with a tape recorder bootlegging Bowie but cant remember which night but do remember the side door where I had my rcorder in a bag recording opened and Iggie pop came out and got into a car which pulled up.
@glutusmaximus that would have been the Tuesday night 20th June he was sitting next to a freind of mine in the front of the upper circle I thought we were the only ones that saw Iggy that night cheers for the reminder.
@glutusmaximus I chased Bowie's red motorcar(he was in the back) in 72 or 73 in that lane behind Greens Playhouse/Apollo.It's still there! Thanks for post-great.

@glutusmaximus Was he the passenger? Only kidding - was this from Bowie's 1978 gig? I remember Bowie doing two sets, much better than seeing any support act
Station to Station please.
