unfortunately, no. the line become part of the background. You can make multiple lines though if you let the bullet fall (if you stop stomping on it)

I'm not sure. I think it has to do with when the bullet is stomped on. If you look closely, the tail of the bullet where the line is drawn is in the center of each "block". Part of the reason for putting this up is to see if it can be done in other parts of the game as well as in newer versions (like the SNES and Wii--when it comes out), but I haven't got feedback yet.
