Awesome pic of the helmet cam. I can't believe I am saying this, I miss Cali. at 1:08 you can see the shadow of the helmet cam. I giggled. I think I just miss the green of spring and summer. It's been winter here for too long. Where did you get that music? it's very relaxing. I like the "walking backward"/ running the film in reverse. It is more relaxing in a way. I can't say why.
@iamacyborg Yes helmet cam + smooth cam. Unforunately smooth cam as a technology is still in its infancy, so I cant choose a certain spot on screen for the steadying mechanism to follow. thus, the occasional jaggedness.
It's true, i got a lot of head turns and expressions of interest/amazement. I've since bought a new camera with Hi Def capabilities, so I'm looking forward to getting some better quality helmet cam footage in the near future.
@Plomomedia btw, down the first corridor when the beat first hits, the clip is revealed without smooth cam. you can definitely see the difference. The helmet cam alone was not enough to produce the smoothness (although i thought it would be... thought my neck would act as a sufficient shock absorber)

I think some other consumer software like Adobe After effects lets you do that kind of thing, but it's much more difficult since you have do a lot of manual work to get it to track the way you want it to.
Me encanta este video. Parecen imagenes salidas de un sueno, da una sensacion muy particular.
El lugar es increible.

Very nice. I found it hypnotic. The color crushing and blur really gave it a dream-like quality.
The song is wonderful as well.

Pretty awesome. This your helmet cam + steady software at work?
It's funny watching people double take like "there's a guy on a bike" ... "and he has a camera on his helmet".
It almost looked like you turned the camera backwards, but when you see the people walking backwards it's fairly obvious.
