Your performance was very good and your style is simply fantastic. I have never seen anyone dancing like you. Keeping your own personality into the oriental dance is very chalenging, only extremely trained performers who have had a long experience within the dance ( learned from the root with the best instructors - in Egypt, Lebanon etc ) can do it. You are definitely NOT A COPY of any famous dancer.

Congrats from a dance colleague who started admiring your work.

Oi, eu gostei muito da sua dança, é claro que não é o estilo egípcio típico, e justamente por isso é muito interessante, parece ser algo muito pessoal, espontâneo e desenvolvido ao longo de bastante tempo. Você dança com inteireza, algo raro de se ver! Não se pode agradar a todos, mas eu gostei muito mesmo! Parabéns,

hi sorayada i realy did not like this performance was totaly improvisated and i hate improvisation,this music i even did not hear before going to stage,i just posted the video because many peaple asked me to.

I agree with the not completing the moves,it was realy a drit performance, but not about the rest of your coment. What i can say about any artistic object is that it is submited to personal taste, what u dislike can please others,i personaly like very mutch what i do and the way i do, and have no intention to change it, but any way u have the write of disliking and expresing this, and i,have the write of disagreing with u,any way thanks a lot for the coment

If I said that, it is not cause I just think that, it is a fact. It is not only a question of taste. Do you look some egyptian dancers? the feeling of the music is very important. The real style is more intense. The movements are less large and more loan of the body.

realy? did u ever seen any gawazy dancing?u can tell any thing about them but that they do small movements, any way, it is your personal opinion, that i respect, what seams is that U do not respect other points of weil, and artistic liberty, any way, it is YOUR problem, i my self m a democratic,peaple has the write to express any way they want, verbaly artistcly or in any orther media. i like waht i do, and unfortnantly it is not your personal opiniom that is gonna change it, regrats maíra

Some people think bellydancing is all about standing in one place and jiggling their fat around. Sorry, but I think dancers should put some thought and energy into their work, as Maira has done here. Her interpretation of the music is excellent, she covers the stage very well, and has nice personality. She is a wonderful, and very professional dancer.
