  • Larry Elder tried to comment but Ed Schultz wasn't having any of it. Such a shame that the truth cannot be told sometimes.

  • I dont know how idiots like ED get their own shows or why intellegent people like Larry decide to go on them. Ed is obviously out classed by Larry.

  • Thats msnbc for ya.

  • Yes, Special Ed, whatever you say...

  • and still no fucking PUBLIC OPTION in the medicare bill but im sure half of america was to lazy to read it like the politicians that voted on it

  • Ed is a piece of sh|t

  • Easy, because Michele Bachmann believes in her oath, unlike most liberals politicians. She upholds and defends the U. S. Constitution as she should as an elected representative. If all politicians would do the same we would not be talking about an UNCONSTITUTIONAL BILL like government run and forced health care insurance reform.

  • @dantheleo Bachmann supported the unconstitutional war in Iraq, the unconstitutional patriot act, the unconstitutional ban on gay marrige, the unconstitutional bill requiring prayer in schools and the unconstitutional stripping of a woman's choice. She has lined the bird cage with the constitution many times.

  • @funkbrother216 None of the issues you have written are unconstitutional or simply put, "A lie!" There is not one school in the U. S. that requires prayer and nobody is stripping a woman's choice to kill a child, that is still up to the woman!

  • @dantheleo Bachmann and the gang did not succeed in impleminting school prayer and a ban on abortions, but the point is that they proposed it and continue to at verious degrees. Iraq was unconstitutional because there was no declaration of war or no eminent threat. The Patriot Act allows the government to spy on dissenting citizens without probable cause or a warrant. Nothing constitutional about any of that.

  • @funkbrother216 I guess the first thing I should of asked you was, "Have you ever read the U.S. Constitution before?" The Iraq war had Congressional Approval so, "No" it was not an illegal war. However, the military action on Libya is illegal because obama did not get Congressional Approval. You didn't make any reference to The Patriot Act in your last reply. You are aware that this current administration (obama) has expanded The Patriot Act by leaps and bounds.

  • @dantheleo Congress had also approved of the health care mandate, does that make it constitutional? There are a number of different things that make legislation or a decision unconstitutional. Obama caught plenty of flack from the left, me included, for expanding the patriot act. The Patriot Act is now defunct, however. Contrary to pupular, Right Wing, opinion, the left does not give Obama any free passes. Yes, I read the constitution a few times in my life.

  • @funkbrother216 Okay, now you want to change the debate. What Congress did not have in regards to obamacare was the support of the majority of the American people. The Patriot Act is hardly defunct, as you put it. The Patriot has been expanded domestically to cell phones, the internet, etc. When Hillary Clinton was on C-Span she spoke in detail the necessity to expand the powers of The Patriot Act. For you to believe any thing else is just naivete.

  • @dantheleo How did I change the debate? I had addressed you point directly. You said that the war in Iraq was constitutional because it was approved by congress. I crushed that argument by pointing out that congressional approval doesn't make something constitutional just like it didn't make the health care mandate constitutional. You dodged that point with some ted herring about me "changing the argument" and went on about the Patriot Act, which actually WAS voted down in the house.

  • @funkbrother216 LOL Your new argument is invalid because a Federal Judge ruled, "obamacare" unconstitutional! Not to mention the majority of Americans never supported it, that is governing against the will of the majority of the American people, not a wise thing to do! As for your original argument of The Patriot Act, the C-Span interview with Hilary Clinton speaking about the necessity of expanding The Patriot Act was two weeks ago, so once again you are misinformed!

  • @dantheleo My argument has remained consistant throughout, it is you who ofuscates in order to salvage your own deminishing argument. Hillary's remarks were not a celebration of it's expansion, it was an appeal for it. You are just plain uninformed. Majority rule is not what the forefathers had in mind when they authered the cinstitution. In fact, that was the last hting they wanted.

  • @funkbrother216 So now you are interpreting what you think Hillary Clinton was trying to say, LOL! She was quite clear on the expansion of the Patriot Act, and justifying the action itself. You are mistaken about about the Founding Father's, precisely why they founded this nation as a Constitutional Republic and NOT a democracy because majority does rule, do elections sound familiar to you. Learn what you are talking about before making such comments, it just makes you look foolish!

  • @dantheleo When my comments make me seem foolish, I can always count on your replies to reverse that effect. You may not know this, but your right to vote only exist on a local and state level. There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that gives you or any of us the right to vote. Our national vote is a privilege. The constitution only grants elected officcials the right to vote in a national election. Constitutionally, majority rule doesn't apply nationally.

  • Completely cutting off the dissenting libertarian on the retardED Show? How unsurprising.

  • What? Government hands off Medicare?? VA hospitals?? I don't like the sound of that!!!

  • Come to Washington on November 5th, join Michelle Bachman and tell your Representative to keep their hands off your health care!

If you can't make it to Washington, go to your Member's district office. And, if you can't do that, you need to call and email. We can defeat this!
