I drive thru there at least once a month... It's been dry for a long time, although Guadalupe canyon still has some water falls, you have to drive a long way inside to find them (there´s a point where you actually have to walk, it is not accesible by car), a lot of people may say this is not a very interesting place but it is very unique, few places like this are actually under sea level...

the last time i saw it full of water was on 1986 i was 10 back then.i believe by 1993 it had a minumum amount of water that could be still seen .by driving at normal level.and when you were up the mountains.could be seen how much it was getting reduced.i lost trace when it got complete dried.i went there too on 1999 when it got dried completly to canon de guadalupe
