This game is brilliant and like Once Upon a Time or a good secret identity game (though it plays different than the latter and has less structure) the measurement of how fun this game will be is directly linked to the creativity, amicability, and charisma of the people playing it. To the extent that if you're having a new person play with your group, you can almost measure (at least for us) if they're fun, relaxed, likable, and creative enough based on how much they like/do well with this game.
@Norgano In other words, this game is splendidly awesome enough to the point that if you have one or several people you're playing with who HATE it, I would first consider finding new people rather than discarding the game--it's that good and takes someone clever, creative, and fun enough to enjoy it. It doesn't teach "strategy" the muscle it really flexes is creativity, roleplaying, story-telling but also quick-thinking, reflexes and really sharpens the wit when it comes to interaction skills.

The variation I like to play with, is that you can't deny anything. Therefore, if someone says you are a traitor, you are! Then the game becomes quite more difficult.
As an Italian, I've been playing this game ever since it was just a bunch of playtesting photocopies (a friend of mine knows the creators) and it's great to see that it's finally made its way out of the old country!

I've played this game several times, and it's hilarious! We may not stick directly to the rules, but we have a lot of fun with it.
