I for one have only had the pleasure of dancing with Melissa twice and both times were amazing. Before you post your opinions about her you should dance with her. She is so intune with the music and even though she likes to step out of the followers box she was always ready for me to lead her on the one. Thank you Melissa for giving me the best 2 and a half minutes I had at SwingDiego.
well ya know...when you get to this level, with such great dancers pair together...it becomes a lot more 50/50 with the two playing off each other. T'was wonderful, I thought. That fast at that speed.bit was incredible. I couldn't improv this well at that speed...no way. You?
there's a difference between backleading and taking advantage of a spot that's left open-ended... some of my best dances with incredible follows have been giving them lots of room to play, and letting them guide the way I lead...
a follow at this level would not backlead, especially with an equally good lead and in a competition; any liberties she took were offered to her by the lead.
I believe that the audio issue is really a copyright issue with the music.

too bad the audio doesn't work anymore. Wondering though if there was a way you could fix that. For the dance's sake :)
