Thank you so much for this video!!! Maybe you have any advices how to train 1.5 years old cat to do this? When I'm trying to take him to position to show how long and slim he is - he is just recovers and I can't do nothing!!! Maybe food rewards can work?
Was that your cat up there? My cats a domestic shorthair (tabby cat) and is almost 1 year 1 month. It's not exactly a breed of cat, but in the later future I'm going to show an Egyptian Mau in a cat show, if I have enough money. So the cat I have now can make good practice to when I'm training my Mau.
Our kitten, shown in this video, started out very much not liking trips outside of the house. We started slow. Out to the front yard, out back by the pool. Then we would take short trips in the truck. In no time at all he was a pro, willing to go anywhere.

Strong work, Mark. This is what potential exhibitors at a cat show can do to acclimate their kitten to showing, before they go to a cat show!
