I remember Nancy and Lee doing this back in '67, when it was a monster hit. I prefer THIS version, though; this is GREAT!

As for people carping about this not being "an Indian song": that's just plain silly. Music is international, and the fact that this song strikes a chord in people of all ages all over the world is a tribute to the song. And that's cool.
