Um. Just to let you know. When you supposely turned on the blink detection, you actually turned it off. Then you thought you where turning it back off but you where actually turning it on. Thats why when you were demonstrating the smile shot, it had blink detection....

Check your settings before the reveiw, I have this phone and it works better than you reveiwed.

i loved the viewty but the only problem i had with was when it comes to the themes i was stuck with those 3 horrible ones, and to get new ones was a nightmare.

how are the themes on the renoir?

Was it really a nightmare, i just done some things to it like install theme manager and the themes were great, though the viewtys touch screen is crap, the Renoir's touch-screen is 90% better.

It seems companies like orange have blocked lgs implementation and are charging for it £95for 3 years. Things like this (that are really optional extras) never seem to be mentioned in reviews, and i think this is a rip off considering the phone is sold with this feature (i.e. u assume its free).

i dont understand why he says it's not trying to be one of the best phones, specs wise it is a VERY good phone, wifi, 3G, GPS etc. all the functionality of your above average smartphone, plus that awesome camera as a bonus, in my opinion, it is a top phone.

true, for me it is currently indeed the best phone, even higher priced phones cant match it but thats only for my needs, because it isnt a smartphone like other more expensive devices. The rival are the Se C905,Samsung Pixon and Nokia N8x series. The camera is the 2nd best on any mobile phone available, only the Samung innov8 slightly better. It is cheaper then the rivlas and with loaded with more functions so i cant believe why he said it dont want to be the best either.
