this whole berserk abridged series is absoutly hilarious. i found it as entertaining as family guy and southparkk and those are my favorite shows. and the commentry is realy interesting too. you should of won an oscar for all this. it gave me a lot of entertainment in my boring lonenly life

This is my second favorite abridged series and it's not too far behind yugioh actually. You have some great one liners later on that are just awesome.

I actually didn't like the Naruto one too much and found the voices for it kind of annoying so your abridged is fathoms better in my book.

Your Gantz one isn't bad either, but I'm not too big of a fan unfortunately.

Awesomeness. Great commentary. While the stingers are pretty funny, I imagine they'd slow down the whole production of the episode, because if you get too random or obscure, you'll have to spend an hour just trying to find the right audio. And then there is the whole, "Having to think of a relative stinger for the episode." thing. That's why I kinda liked how you ended most of your episodes cut-and-dry.

That's what I thought at the time too, although since I've started using them with Gantz, I've found that I very seldom get to the end of an episode without having thought of at least one great idea for a stinger. In fact, the problem is usually less thinking of one, and more deciding WHICH one to use.

I love watching commentaries of movies as much as watching the movie itself so I hope you keep doing this! Don't forget about Gantz though... You and Megami 33 are pretty much the only abridgers who still release episodes on a regular basis since the start of DBZ Abridged.

I noticed that you had really abrupt endings and it was strange to me at the time because everything else in BAS was put together very well. Didn't dwell on it though, the series was very funny.

If you had like ending credits or something, I felt it would've been better, just because it ended so abruptly on the first few episodes. The Gantz "Big Balls" ending for example, would work fine even without the stuff at the end.

Thanks for the commentary hbi2k, I'm glad you decided to continue doing these, since I love finding out all of the thought processes and ideas that go into making BAS. And I'll say it again, that out of all of the numerous abridged series out there (seriously, there are craploads) I usually only stay if the first episodes are strong enough to draw me in, and while most fail, Berserk did and was a truly ambitious project.
