@johnunion I'm pretty sure prostitution existed before the invention of currency even when there was a barter system in place. Some people (especially women) don't even prostitute themselves for money but rather for a comfortable or secure lifestyle - look at all those ugly rich men who have very attractive wives/girlfriends. Currency/financial gain is like a stage of the disease but it is not the whole disease.
