All those fights he used pressure cept for mosley. All those guys except for polly can get you out of there if they catch you.

And I don't see how Mayweather can come out of retirement to automatically be #1 P4P. Even if he left the sport as #1, he's been gone for two years. During those two years, no one accomplished enough to grab the #1 spot? I'd put mayweather under Hopkins, myself.
I can only go on official judgements & so far AM hasn't been proven to have ever entered the ring with an illegal advantage. Now I'm not saying that an absence of confirmed guilt equals innocence but at some point I have to draw a line and avoid speculation. Otherwise I would have to discount Mosley for the BALCO case and no doubt numerous other instances where there is doubt or suspicion. I have to go on confirmed facts and all that means in this case is that he was caught *intending* to cheat.
I think considering the circumstances (he's about to cheat in a fight that he was picked as the favorite to win), it's safe to say he's done this before.
And it's a shame, because I really enjoyed his fight with cotto, and the plaster ruined it for me.

But I will say that there is nothing automatic about me rating Floyd number one. If I had to, as stated earlier, I would put floyd under B-hop on the P4P list, but the most proper thing to do would be to wait just three more days for floyd to fight, and then we can gauge his spot on the list proper.

I read an interview where Cotto said that he tried to go to the body. But if you watch the fight he rarely threw to the body. Probably not more than 10 times the entire fight. He gave up on the body attack too easily. Also he said that he doesn't like to clinch, that's why he didn't do it. He calls it bravery, I call it stupidity. Also Shane had a more commited body attack and was able to land to the body when he threw.

If you move in on a fighter to throw a combination - at this level you expect to have to take one or two shots to be able to land yours. But when every shot you're getting hit with hurts it's naturally going to make you hesitate at times when your natural inclination is not to.

I can only go on official judgements & so far AM hasn't been proven to have ever entered the ring with an illegal advantage. Now I'm not saying that an absence of confirmed guilt equals innocence but at some point I have to draw a line and avoid speculation. Otherwise I would have to discount Mosley for the BALCO case and no doubt numerous other instances where there is doubt or suspicion. I have to go on confirmed facts and all that means in this case is that he was caught *intending* to cheat.

I think considering the circumstances (he's about to cheat in a fight that he was picked as the favorite to win), it's safe to say he's done this before.
And it's a shame, because I really enjoyed his fight with cotto, and the plaster ruined it for me.

Well your second point really depends on the criteria used to compile a P4P list, and there are many and often they can yield quite different results. But I will say that there is nothing automatic about me rating Floyd number one. My list is not about rating who has been the most impressive or the most improved over the past 24 or 36 months, because as you correctly state how could you rate an inactive fighter above an active one?

If I had to, as stated earlier, I would put floyd under B-hop on the P4P list, but the most proper thing to do would be to wait just three more days for floyd to fight, and then we can gauge his spot on the list proper.

Margarito was blocking those body shots with his long arms and taking head shots instead... cotto shouldn't have sat on the ropes or when he was tired he should've hugged margarito instead of taking those muderous shots from margarito.. margarito arms was down by his side and he was taking all the head shotz he could, cotto was unable to land like he wanted to.. go back and watch the fight... 2nd he shouldn't of sat on the ropes in the very first place.. he should of kept it in the middle of the ring... even if he was on his way to being hurt and saw it was a problem he should of came back out and readjusted himself...It wasn't like cotto was losing in the middle of the ring.. he was losin when he was sitting.. he should hug

I read an interview where Cotto said that he tried to go to the body. But if you watch the fight he rarely threw to the body. Probably not more than 10 times the entire fight. He gave up on the body attack too easily. Also he said that he doesn't like to clinch, that's why he didn't do it. He calls it bravery, I call it stupidity. Also Shane had a more commited body attack and was able to land to the body when he threw.

Yeah - don't get me wrong, it can't have been a picnic having Margarito punching you with what must have felt like rocks to Cotto. One critical effect I think was to make Cotto a little gun shy. If you move in on a fighter to throw a combination - at this level you expect to have to take one or two shots to be able to land yours. But when every shot you're getting hit with hurts it's naturally going to make you hesitate at times when your natural inclination is not to.
