Yea what's with ppl saying DDD is gay?? i reckon the ppl saying that are using meta knight or sum shit -.- he may not b fast, he can't spam attacks but his smashes are aoe and last for about half a second each (which is crazy good compared to all the instant smash hits) all you gotta do with him is keep them at your distance.

Try Donkey Kong, DK kills meta knight with his long range and wide margin for error, he can literally flatten Metaknight in 2 hits.Dedede is good too, maybe bowser, and Ike, definitely Ike.Again, they're heavy characters, and can take a buttload of punishment from the like of Metaknight.And Metaknights final smash pails in comparison to Ikes, or even Bowsers.

Hm ok, but please note that my reaction is from 4 months ago. I now believe that every character is great in the right hands. I keep changing mains every 2 months or so; started with link(cuz i loved LoZ) then I've had toon,MK,diddy,lucas,zelda andnow falco/toon link. I think that if you are a pretty good player, you should be able to play with most characters properly. I still think that link is hard to play with, though.

You know how long after the game was released this vid was made? I'd say it's pretty cool all of the things that they observed in that amount of time. All of the stuff that was found in SSBM probably wasn't found that fast either, and there are still things that are being discovered.

I agree on the tripping thing, it's pretty terrible. It's just an unneccesary random factor in the game.

I also with what they said about grabs. Some characters have throws that allow them to hit right afterwards, or can chain grab, and their throws are therefore useful - Dedede and Marth come to mind. Some throws are just weak, and do maybe 9% damage, like Wolf's.

See, I actually LIKE tripping. It stops players from dashing back and forth while they are either showing off or... well, it was basically just for showing off, which is why the inability to do things like that and wave dashing and all that BS is wonderful.

Just like having a new ruleset that doesn't include showing off.

Well what if you're not showing off and actually dash to get a dash attack and combo or something and trip and die? Yea it prevents showing off but it also screws up gameplay.
