there are many types of Indian dances if you look up bhangra(this is obviously not bhangra but just for the sake of an example) there is plenty of moving hands besides its unlikely that you can get good persian dance instructors in India.

The earlier settlers in India were from the caucacus region of russia. That can be understood if you research the similarities between old Russian and Sanskrit language. fact no 2 we were an important ally of the former soviet union. We still are strong allys.
