@letsride84 No. Everyone except for Wii fanboys knew that the Wii wasn't accurate. It was accepted because it was made in 2006 and pioneered those type of motion controls but it wasn't accurate. Look at the first E3 Skyward Sword demo. It was sad. They lost control of the remote because it wasn't tracking well. After that Nintendo realized the remote wasn't accurate so they made the Wii Motion Plus which fixed things.

@letsride84 What else is the Move supposed to do? The PS3 (even the PS2) have done the type of motion control the Kinect does with the PS Eye. The PS3 already had sixaxis motion sensing technology. All it was missing was Wii remote tech. Its role was to improve on the remote's capabilities, which it did with the Move. I have cheated my way with flickers of the Wii remote through any Wii game. NONE have required precision and only that, all of them could be easily tricked.

This really shows how little imagination Sony have when it comes to making ways for playing video games, I mean seriously, they just riped off the wii mote and made some changes to make it better, and it better be because it came way later the wii mote. And to be hounest, the wii motion plus actully works just as good as the PS move. The same goes with their upcoming PS.Vita. They just improved the psp and took something as mainstream as multitouch and puts it on.

what are you talking about? nintendo gives a free SD card with the 3DS and it isnt required for each game, while the vita requires a memory card that is 20+ and most games require it. and later nintendo made wiimotes with built in wii motion+ and not that many games require it. its the with the 2nd analog on 3ds, only like 5 games use it, but microsoft (in terms of gaming) can go to hell
Why use buttons for walking or running, how about some form of "Wii Board" that you step on one button for walking, another for running...that would seem more "natural". Or better yet, running while stationary like the Wii lets you do - what, they already using Wii-based ideas, and the cam could easily find the user.
I just bought the MOVE, and found it un-usable. Sorry, but am using it to play RE5 -Gold Edition which is MOVE compatible. The designation for the button for walking is okay, but thumb placement changes for "running" and the position is awkward and unacceptable. The placement of buttons for in-game is so different than with DualShock3, game performance suffers. Calibration is a bastard, and accuracy is off. Using a 55" Samsung LED/3D television. Sorry am un-impressed, back to my Dual Shock.

If u have the time and want to know more u search for "waggle3d" channel, the guy does in depth analysis videos on move games. His videos r sometimes a bit long but they are the best.
At least the Kinect as innovative. This is just a direct copy of the wii. They just added a ball at the end that makes it look like a children's play toy. And don't say it has better motion control than the wii, because it doesn't. Play Skyward Sword. Most realistic sword (and everything else) play ever in any game ever. So basically, they just copied the wii and didn't even do better. I played them both, and the wii motion plus is more accurate. How's that for fail?

@SilverUmbreon89 The Eyetoy is still around. Its the Playstation Eye. They actually just improved it. They combined the Eyetoy and an improved version of the Wii remote and made the Move. Move also works better than the Wii remote as a fact so i don't get what you mean when you said "they did worse than Nintendo". Kinect didn't do anything new. It IS a copy of the PS Eye.

The move is like a better more accurate version of the Wii. I know this because when I played wii golf on MY wii, i found out that you could still get a good shot just by shaking the controller. On the playstation move how-ever, I noticed that if you wanted to do the action depicted on screen, you had to physicly do it the way it was ment to be done. Now I'd hate to say this, but please Thumbs Up so that people can see, I think it will be an interesting thing for you and others to read.

@lbplayerify08 No dude. Wii Motion Plus is STILL not as good as this. I have tried both. This does better because the controller itself tracks movement and so does camera by providing a more accurate depiction of your movements.
@ajmomoho u can find youtube videos that show that motionplus for wii is actually more accurate, nintendo just doesnt apply it completely so that it doesnt mess up the gameplay. EA has said in an interview that motionplus was too accurate, they had to lower the sensitivity.
Move is awesome! It's so much more fun than Kinect because you don't look like a moron holding an air guitar or something. It's very responsive and the thing about it being inaccurate in bright light is crap. It works just fine for me and I always have my windows open to save energy on my electric bill. I really do recommend it. Also, I'm not hating on Kinect, I just enjoy this better. I'm a gamer, I need buttons, not sign language.

@letsride84 What else is the Move supposed to do? The PS3 (even the PS2) have done the type of motion control the Kinect does with the PS Eye. The PS3 already had sixaxis motion sensing technology. All it was missing was Wii remote tech. Its role was to improve on the remote's capabilities, which it did with the Move. I have cheated my way with flickers of the Wii remote through any Wii game. NONE have required precision and only that, all of them could be easily tricked.

@letsride84 but its true my cousins play the wii and its not accurate at all if i play Wii sports and play Baseball all i need to do is Flick the controller and it automaticly does the swing for me. Honestly Wii shouldn't even be a competition against Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. is most likely a fun little console for little kids. i mean like the size of it is small compared to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

This really shows how little imagination Sony have when it comes to making ways for playing video games, I mean seriously, they just riped off the wii mote and made some changes to make it better, and it better be because it came way later the wii mote. And to be hounest, the wii motion plus actully works just as good as the PS move. The same goes with their upcoming PS.Vita. They just improved the psp and took something as mainstream as multitouch and puts it on.

what are you talking about? nintendo gives a free SD card with the 3DS and it isnt required for each game, while the vita requires a memory card that is 20+ and most games require it. and later nintendo made wiimotes with built in wii motion+ and not that many games require it. its the with the 2nd analog on 3ds, only like 5 games use it, but microsoft (in terms of gaming) can go to hell

Why use buttons for walking or running, how about some form of "Wii Board" that you step on one button for walking, another for running...that would seem more "natural". Or better yet, running while stationary like the Wii lets you do - what, they already using Wii-based ideas, and the cam could easily find the user.

I just bought the MOVE, and found it un-usable. Sorry, but am using it to play RE5 -Gold Edition which is MOVE compatible. The designation for the button for walking is okay, but thumb placement changes for "running" and the position is awkward and unacceptable. The placement of buttons for in-game is so different than with DualShock3, game performance suffers. Calibration is a bastard, and accuracy is off. Using a 55" Samsung LED/3D television. Sorry am un-impressed, back to my Dual Shock.

@Xanntha14 Yea, Sport champions, medieval moves, sorcery will be awesome, and move fitness looks really fun...those are the 4 best ones.. also the fight: lights out is pretty good . Also there are a ton of move compatible games.but most of them r better with a controller.
If u have the time and want to know more u search for "waggle3d" channel, the guy does in depth analysis videos on move games. His videos r sometimes a bit long but they are the best.

At least the Kinect as innovative. This is just a direct copy of the wii. They just added a ball at the end that makes it look like a children's play toy. And don't say it has better motion control than the wii, because it doesn't. Play Skyward Sword. Most realistic sword (and everything else) play ever in any game ever. So basically, they just copied the wii and didn't even do better. I played them both, and the wii motion plus is more accurate. How's that for fail?

Don't get me wrong, I don't like the Kinect much other than when playing Kinect sports, but as I said, they tried to do something different with the motion controls.

@SilverUmbreon89 The Eyetoy is still around. Its the Playstation Eye. They actually just improved it. They combined the Eyetoy and an improved version of the Wii remote and made the Move. Move also works better than the Wii remote as a fact so i don't get what you mean when you said "they did worse than Nintendo". Kinect didn't do anything new. It IS a copy of the PS Eye.

The move is like a better more accurate version of the Wii. I know this because when I played wii golf on MY wii, i found out that you could still get a good shot just by shaking the controller. On the playstation move how-ever, I noticed that if you wanted to do the action depicted on screen, you had to physicly do it the way it was ment to be done. Now I'd hate to say this, but please Thumbs Up so that people can see, I think it will be an interesting thing for you and others to read.

@ajmomoho u can find youtube videos that show that motionplus for wii is actually more accurate, nintendo just doesnt apply it completely so that it doesnt mess up the gameplay. EA has said in an interview that motionplus was too accurate, they had to lower the sensitivity.

Move is awesome! It's so much more fun than Kinect because you don't look like a moron holding an air guitar or something. It's very responsive and the thing about it being inaccurate in bright light is crap. It works just fine for me and I always have my windows open to save energy on my electric bill. I really do recommend it. Also, I'm not hating on Kinect, I just enjoy this better. I'm a gamer, I need buttons, not sign language.
