@rock858965 No, the walkman is better. The walkman has a much nicer sound playback engine with a much more sophisticated equalizer. Also, even though with both players the screen resolution is 320x240, the sansa has a larger display, which means that the quality will be more pixelated. so it's up to you - higher quality detail or a bigger picture. But personally, I'd take the walkman over the sansa anyday.

I'm looking for a new one mine just died and i saw this and was wondering if you culd tell me how durable it is- I'm the worlds greatest clutz so I need a new one every year- I just need one that can take a beating if I fall on it or drop it.

@rock858965 are you crazy? it's your opinion, I understand, but I've used both players and the walkman never fails to impress. What I like about the sansa, though,is that you can install Rockbox firmware. Can't do that with the walkman (n)

Great mp3 I have had mine for about two years now. It has served me well. Until I got an xbox 360 and hooked it up to my xbox and it fried my Sony so yeah whatever u do don't hook it up to a gaming system
