I'm surprised at how smooth the video came out considering it was on your handlebar. I think I am going to give that a try. Did you buy a mount or did you make one? Great video! I can relate to the cactus, unfortunately.

i bought the mount. I'd attribute the relative smoothness to:

1. wide angle lens

2. good front fork

3. some riding skill ;)

yeah this was a handle bar mount, with the old GoPro.

I think I was riding my Gary Fisher Cake 4, heavily modified of course.

good call, I havent tried that yet. I'l have to go back and film it again with my new HD cam and chest mount, hopefully the sun flares will be minimized.

What front tire are you running? Maxxis, Schwalbe, Specialized, Bontrager, Kenda?
