@WVMADMAN1 The founders weren't isolationists. Foreign policy has a direct influence on our national security, and its sad to see so many people brainwashed into thinking foreign threats will magically disappear if we ignore them.
@OddRobb Non interventionism is not the same as isolationism. Unfortunately, neocons like youself have no real grasp of America's history abroad. As if everything we do overseas helps our national security, and as if we were minding our own business before 9/11. You people are just as brain dead as the democrats. The founders would be sickened by the idea of 900 bases in over 130 countries bankrupting this nation and actually UNDERMINING our national security. Giving up the bill of rights pff
@USTreasuryBond Actually, if you know you're history you'd know you're wrong. The founders weren't non-interventionist. Jefferson sent the marines into Tripoli to kick some pirates' asses just for screwing with our merchant ships. But yeah, every OCO is pointless, because its not like anyone overseas has had effects on American lives, right? Ron Paul nuts like you are so ignorant; thinking sacrificing the defense will somehow balance the budget. NEWS FLASH: Entitlements >> Defense budget
@WVMADMAN1 The founders? The ones who sent the Marines to Tripoli in our first war against the ottomans? Oops... did I identify a muslim enemy? I mean first war on terror.
There is no way to prevent crime that doesn't come at the cost of liberty, so the only real question now is, do we want to live FREE with a risk that maybe someone will try to attack us, or do we want to live in a prison state in which we know that someone will attack us (our own government).
@HumbleWillis: With Ron Paul advocating even dismantling the FBI & CIA, there's no "maybe" about it. There have been 40+ terrorist attacks thwarted just since 9/11. I'm amazed at his & his supporter's ignorance in this arena.
@2010GOP Go look up those 40+ attacks then tell me how most if any where credible. One of the "attacks" was a guy wanting to take down a major bridge with a blow torch (the Brooklyn Bridge I think) and the "shoe" bomber who basically was to inept to do the deed. remember there are lie damn lie and statistics.
@Jnenders Look up Richard Reid, the Lackawanna Six, the Virginia Jihad Network, Nuradin Abdi, the Synagogue Terror Plot, Hosam Smadi, Faisal Shahzad, Christmas Tree Bomb Plot, Ahmed Ferhani & Mohamed Mamdouh, the Fort Dix Plot, and Derrick Shareef and tell me how they would have been stopped with our National Security having one arm tied behind their backs.
@IshYehudi613 No, he isn't, but that is inconsequential. Newt is one of the most vile and evil of all of the candidates, and that is saying a mouthful considering who is running.
@Ant1Live I could equally argue that Obama is 'Evil', but with regard to intelligence: I could merely point to Obama's failed policies domestically and abroad versus Newt's intelligent comments about the situation. The Obama Presidency is a failure as a whole...any president other than him would be better: even Cain or Palin
@schmoukiz Ron Paul being rational is contradicted by his foreign policy ideas. But, with respect, I find those who say he's "the only [insert positive trait here]" are just recycling talking points, regardless.
@schmoukiz Ron Paul wouldn't be bad but he isn't electible because not many people are willing to vote for him. It's either a "Mainstreem" Repub. or Obama. Take your pick
@schmoukiz I think they're making a reference to Padme's line in Episode 3: "This is how freedom dies. With a thunderous applause." I could be wrong though.
@schmoukiz Agreed! I used to be a huge fan and supporter of PJTV but not anymore. PJTV are just shills for the corrupt big government NEOCON and big corrupt DC establishment.
Ron Paul has been consistant and honest for the duration of his career. can any other politician claim as much?
@schmoukiz You're drinking too much of Ron Paul's kool aid - you are being lulled into an illusion of being secure and safe without a solid foreign policy. And nobody thinks people should be arrested before committing crimes.
@OddRobb So you missed the part where Knewt wants to arrest suspected terrorists and hold them indefinitely without a conviction of a jury of his peers? Anything less than a conviction by a jury of your peers is criminal and explicitly against the constitution. But you're for it, obviously.
Winning a debate and being right are not the same thing. These debates take place in time slots yet we libertarians write books on these subjects.Ron Paul has mentioned terrorist who have been stopped and Constitutionally tried and Newt Gingrich doesn't seem to know that terrorist might get past the PATRIOT act.
Gaddafi had stop the flow of oil to some parts of Europe. He also started to switch the Libyain oil trade from the FED Note (US dollar/Petro-dollar) to GOLD. He wanted gold for Libyain oil.
The FED was also NOT having that, so it was time for Gaddafi to also GO.
@Dukefanforever4 First of all, the conspiracy nuts promote Ron Paul because they view the election of Ron Paul as president as part of the solution to the problems on which they base their conspiracy theories. Secondly, many of the people supporting Ron Paul happen to believe in one or more conspiracy theories and view him as part of the answer to the underlying problems backing said conspiracy theories.
You don't think Obama has a bunch of nutcases supporting him? Or Bachmann? How about another Neocon like Santorum, Gingrich or Romney? You have to crazy or insane to vote for a Neocon. You're either gay or not. You're either a Big Government Democrat or not. Neocons are in the wrong party. That's crazy!!!!
Yep... Newt is using the same fear lines as the Emperor/Palpatine.
If Newt gets the nomination, just write in Ron Paul or vote Democrat down the line. Maybe then these neocon will get the hint we won't support these scumbag, twofaced, big money, Federal Reserve supporting, Bailout taking piles of human waste.
Screw them like we did in 2006... then they might question their actions.
"The patriot act is unconstitutional" ---Ron Paul--- "we have a duty to defend ourselves and it is unamerican not to stop terrorism" --- Ronald Reagan---
@GermanConquistador08 You do know that it is illegal to report to the media that a Patriot Act Warrant has been served on you... right? The law has a gag order written into it.
The men who died defending the Constitution are having their graves shat on by idiots like you who wipe your self with what remains of the Constitution afterwards and then cry to some politician to "save you from the big bad boogy-man"
Neo-Cons are just Progressives with an (R) in front of their name.
You can call them Neo-Cons or Neo-Libs or Neo-Progressives or just Weak Minded little babies that need the Goberment to take care of them and make them safe from the big-bad-camel-jockeys.
@Heathh49008 "You do know that it is illegal to report to the media that a Patriot Act Warrant has been served on you... right?" - Well that doesnt help either arguement, because its impossible to tell how many IF ANY AMERICAN citizens have been under surveillence. At that point neither side has ammunition to say that the patriot act has or hasnt been used on innocent American citizens. I dont support the Patriot act, neither do I strongly condemn it.
@Heathh49008 "then cry to some politician" -Like I said, I havnt seen the evidence from either side that the Patriot act is either necissary or useful or a violation of our rights. I would have liked it better to have the FBI and CIA more flexibility in the ways that their inability to respond and get in touch with the right people lead to 9/11 but I dont think the Patriot act is the end of our constitional rights, not while Obamas in the white house. And I'm not a neocon, nice mature man.
gimme some gingrich here. Water boarding him comes to mind immediately just for his love of the carbon taxes and his globalist agenda. What else does one need to start a long session of some intense water boarding...? :)
By definition: larger gov't means less individual freedom. Newt is a NeoCon, inside the beltway republican. He is the essence of what is wrong in Washington DC. That is why the media likes him and propagandizes him over the other candidates. He is the "John McCain" of the 2012 election.
I love Ron Paul's platform even though I know he will probably not be nominated. I am still voting for him in the primary.
(cont.) It fucking pathetic people, you make me sick to my stomach. I may switch from being an atheist to a religion that believes in hell so I can delude myself into believing that some justice will be served to “you” people. Even if its after death.
Yep, I guess Newt is the last, best hope... If you couldn’t give a flying fuck about the country and are only voting because the person has an (R) next to his name. Newt = 0bama... Everyone willing to vote for Newt wouldn't blink twice about voting for 0bama if he had an (R) next to his name... (cont.)
I think we may wind up with a rino president; but before losing heart - consider how long it took the democrats to get a raging marxist in that office.
For those of you who think that this is a pro-Newt video, if you remember Star Wars, this is most definitely not. The video is comparing Newt Gingrich to Senator Palpatine, in his rise to Supreme Chancellor. The annotation at 2:23 is a direct reference to Padme's line, "This is how liberty dies: with thunderous applause," which was given after Palpatine's speech of forming a galactic empire to ensure "security and continuing stability". Very similar to Newt's position on national security.
I would not be surprised if that were the case, though there is certainly something to say about the lack of a clear mission. However, that is not necessarily advocating Paul's foreign policy, but rather to say, the current policy's success exists in spite of itself. I sympathize with your position, for there is no lack of those who employ extremely offensive and rude demeanors if one happens to support religion or a state, regardless of the context.
Ron Paul 2012....eff the newt...he will beat down the american people just as bad as obamas policies only he will do it more directly rather than threw poor policies about business and the epa
@gibblitvision Yeah, I'm not buying that Iraq didn't do anybody any good and now look at this mess, if it had been a gov. operation it would have failed they would be able to pull it off, they can't even balance a budget nor can they secure a border, they just aren't smooth enough to pull off a 911. Islam on the other hand is a chess master and has many people fooled.
ROFL, you're right. Engineering and math do not lie. If the towers fell in "free fall" Like you drones believe, it would have taken half the time it actually did.
@mysock351W I agree. The Ron Paul nut jobs are loose. Regardless of what we think about the Federal Government, an essential part of limited government is to protect Americans.
@groam6666 lol, I am a 3rd year medical student and I spend nearly all my free time volunteering for Ron Paul. This is not democrat vs. republican or lib/cons. This because Ron Paul is the only candidate who hasn't sold himself to special interests. Of course, there are some guys supporting Ron Paul because he wants to decriminalize weed (although he is morally against it) to end the drug war, which is why you see some OWS type supporters within the Ron Paul supporters.
@Dukefanforever4 I don't think the military support for Paul is so selfish as just wanting to come home. Yes they want to come home, but the reason that many of them joined the military in the first place was to defend the constitutional freedom that America stands for. At least in my own case, support for Paul is a matter of honor and principle. If I'm willing to go so far as to join the military and possibly die for freedom, then of course I'm going to vote for it, too.
At least he's honest? lol But what do you honestly expect from a career politician? He makes his money through the government. The bigger the government gets, the better his chances of keeping his job and possibly raising his salary. The smaller the government gets...well let's just say that he'd get worried if that happened because his job and more importantly, pay, would be in jeopardy. Democratic, Republican...they're all politicians and your choices are "douchebag and a turd".
As a victim of crime or terrorism, where are my rights? It's sad when the rights of criminals or terrorists becomes paramount in a legal system. The victims are often left penniless and with no possibility to seek reparations.
At a certain point, principles become just as twisted as those who have none.
@groam6666 You're the one who is twisting the issue if you think that this is about elevating the rights of criminals. The real issue here is about protecting the innocent, not the guilty. First, you have to confirm that they really ARE terrorists, and not just some everyday joe who was unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and got accused for looking suspicious. You cry for your rights, yet are so eager to give them up to overzealous witch hunters.
@Shanockdotcom The Patriot Act allowes any district court judge in the United States to issue surveillance orders and warrents for terror related investigation, which was not the case before. So, the government can't legally wiretap or investigate someone randomly.
I think that's reasonable. So, if the FBI has to go through the courts to get permission, how are innocent Americans at risk of witch hunts? I'm thinking your going to say now, "courts are evil and it's a conspiracy."
@groam6666 What on earth makes you think I'd say something like that? I was responding to your comment, in which you ranted about rights, as if anyone in this debate was trying to protect actual terrorists. Your reply is a complete non-sequitur.
@TheEbonicslover They taste a bit salty, but I enjoy it to much to stop. Not every opinion against what you believe is a conspiracy. I understand what your saying, but the judicial branch acts as a stamp of legitimacy. I agree that the right person, pushing the right button, at the right time is unlikely to ever be found. I get that, but the law is the law, and it's not nearly as bad as a judicial branch under the control of the govt.
@groam6666 Let me just sum it up briefly in the simplest way one can. Anyone who rejects the notion that governments don't attract criminals over time is either retarded or criminal. There is simply no other explanation for this phenomenon. Oh yeah the false flag operations were done multiple times historically and it's documented but of course not in the recent history. Yeah the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus are also real!
@TheEbonicslover I guess I must just be part of the majority of Americans, who haven't yet bowed to your superior intellect. By the grace of the divines, only your arguments are legitimate, and hallow be your beliefs on all stances, for he who follows the Ron Paul, shall forever be above criticism. Don't you just show remarkable similarities to leftists.
Seriously, if you have to resort to calling me a retard or a criminal... you obviously don't want a real conversation.
@groam6666 Oh you know so much about me or some of us. Most of us who got to know our president in early 2007 were shocked there is actually a politician that says what we had known for quite a while. It's just that there was no one to represent us and respect the constitution until then. Your comment about trying to box me in the leftist wing on the globalist vulture is as gimpy as you can make it. If you had any common sense you would put me in the right wing extremist box but...
It reminds me of that movie where all murders were predicted by three creatures, and were stopped before they happened. If I send an email as an American, saying "Allah be praised, we will launch an attack tomorrow," should that not set off red flags for anyone. If I scream, "Allah Akbar" at Fort Hood to everyone I see, should that not be seen as suspicious. Should we instead embrace multiculturalism.
How many times do we see the law deny restraining orders, only to see woman mutilated. come on
Although, to be accurate the Patriot Act doesn't really infringe on any rights. Some SMALL modifications could be made, such as the TSA, etc. But, Ron Paul'its and Alex Jones conspiracy boogey men are just that, the claims of LOONS.
@leeuniverse Okay... Domestically, the Patriot Act could be construed such as to pertain only to people who, for instance, killed or tried to kill a politician to advance a political goal, but it could also be construed to apply to someone who beats the living daylights out of another person in front of a crowd to make a statement (political or not), but we will never know since the OFFICIAL interpretation of the Patriot Act is TOP SECRET. That is why people are crying foul over it.
I know the point you're trying to make, and the video was amusing, but as a nerd, I feel it necessary to point out that force lightning is a purely dark side attack. Probably not the message you're trying to convey. :P
@flippityflop No, they got that part right. The video is comparing Newt Gingrich to Senator Palpatine, in his rise to Supreme Chancellor. The annotation at 2:23 is a direct reference to Padme's line, "This is how liberty dies: with thunderous applause."
I beg your pardon, my response was non-sensical; it should have stated "Why does".
My regards that you chose to reply in a respectful manner; certainly such is always appreciated. To be perfectly honest, I too share different viewpoints as to his foreign policy. However given this, I acknowledge two points of rhetoric. 1) Both policies have an identical sum, but employ a different equation. 2) The fiscal situation will have the last say in this matter.
I suggest people watch Judge Napolitano's Youtube lecture about the Patriot Act. There are things in there that most people are not aware of and if they were, there would be more discussion on this law.
All I'll say about Newt's reply to Ron Paul is a famous quote from Benjamin Franklin, "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
The patriot act is unconstitutional flat out. Too bad the people voted into office to protect the constitution and our rights just don't care enough.
@Dukefanforever4 "Don't any of you Paul zombies give me a hard time. You cultish lot annoy the hell out of me."
No less than you crypto-fascistic NeoCon zombies annoy the hell out of us.
If you're prepared to accept Newt you might as well accept Obama too because there won't be anything other than superficial policy changes from a Gingrich White House.
Interesting you left off the most important part: Do you want a policeman in every house watching us all at all times? We can prevent bad stuff from happening that way. Or perhaps you'd like the government to just round us all up and put us in internment camps to make sure nobody does anything wrong. That will protect our freedom, surely.
I like the way Gingrich said the "goverment has to have many more tools to save our lives".
Newt means the Patriot Act, warrantless searches, warrantless wiretapping, and that new SB1867 that was put forth by (R)McCain and (D)Levin that makes citizens equal to a foreign enemy combatants and stips that citizen of their US Constitutional rights like due process at a public trail.
The only job the federal government has is to protect our national borders and defend our people and property.
@ENDtheFED2012 How many rights to you plan on having when a nuke goes off in your living room? And name a US citizen that had their rights infringed by the patriot act.
@KingDingaLing090 that is if your criminal flip flopping carbon tax loving Gingrich does not give an order to carry out another inside job you retarded oblivious to history bootlicker. Yeah I also believe in Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Did you know the brain used to be used for thinking not collecting feces?
@KingDingaLing090 You mean a nuke set off by people who are tired of us intervening in their affairs and occupying their land, installing puppet dictators who oppress them further, and generally trying to manipulate the entire world in the name of corporations and Israel? How about we get to the source of the problem, and that's busy bodies like you who think the world is our playground and actions by' AMERIKUHH STRONG DURR' don't have reactions. FAGGOT. get the hell out of USA
Installing puppet dictators? O, you mean like the Shah of Iran? Wasn't it a nifty idea to get rid of him?
The world is not our playground, and you know it. Our government needs to protect American interests, and at times it needs to protect world interests --- as in the policy of containing Communism. I presume you know that the Shah of Iran was just one piece of that larger policy.
@KingDingaLing090 Name one United States citizen harmed by a terrorist nuclear weapon detonating in their livingroom. Now American on te other hands, we know all about dropping atomic weapons on women and children in Japanese cities.
@order9066 You know the dropping of the atomic bombs saved lives. Allied estimates said that an allied invasion of Japan would result in over 50,000 allied deaths and over a million Japanese civilian deaths.
@order9066 Women, children, and VIABLE STRATEGIC TARGETS. Funny how you leave that one out. But at least you're good at bringing irrelevant happenings into the conversation. I'd vote for Ron Paul, but that mole on his arm reminds me of that time Stalin killed between twenty-five million and sixty million of his own people.
@iTellYouNoLie Oh right so no rights were infringed. You just have a conspiracy that everybodies rights are so infringed it is illegal to talk about it. Yeah right you fucking weasel. ---> "9/11 was an inside job" too right? Fuckin wack job.
Ashton Lundeby, 16 years old==> watch?v=M9zGhYSIAP8
Arrested without warrant or trail.
If you would like I can give you some more names...your can you do your own leg-work?
And...I am not too worried about a 'nuke' going off in my livingroom, I don't leave those things laying-around.
Do you realize how HARD it is to make a nuclear device? Do you have any idea what goes into making one? The complexity of the detonation electronics is mind blowing.
@ENDtheFED2012 I not watchying any stupid videos. YOU can tell me what happened with facts and a LEGITMATE source.. Fucking Ron Paul youtube historians are all the same. And are you aware of the fact the Iran is making nukes? Are you aware of the threats they make against us? "Duurr I don't leave nukes laying around" <--- Fucking retards all of you.
Since you can't seem to do any of your own leg work (most likely because you are mentally incapable of doing so).....I'll tell you about it.
The FBI busted into Ashton Lundeby's house and took him into custody because someone had used his IP address to send out treats. The boy was held for months without trail and his own mother could not even get to him. After the o'so competent FBI realized they had made a mistake they finally released the boy with just a 'We're Sorry'.
@ENDtheFED2012 Yeah okay, I googled it and the first legitimate source that popped up said the whole thing was hoax by mother Annette Lundeby. Her son was not detained under the patriot act. Are you going to cry now? Let that soak in. Just let it all soak in. Then say something else. You piece of shit. Lol
You seem very weak minded. I like how you resorted to insults. It's OK though...I know that it's the best that you can do.
Don't forget to google that stuff I told you to, unless you can't do that either. In that case you'll have to find someone to help you with it. You do know how to ask for 'help' don't you?
@ENDtheFED2012 The Patriot Act does no such thing. Before tracking a suspect, the FBI must prove there is a "probable cause" that the suspect is for a foreign agent and then get approval to track him from the FISA Court. The Lone wolf clause only lets the FBI track NON-CITIZENS that may be a threat, and is also closely monitored by the court & congress. No one has produced significant evidence of any Patriot Act misuse, and we can thank this act for preventing at least 36 terror plots since 9/11.
@OddRobb Oh is that why on 10-31-11 Obama and the DOJ han Anwar Al Awiaki Killed. He was an American citiczen. He was on a secret hit list Obama and the DOJ have. You damn sheep need to wake up and be willing to admint you have bought the lies the mainstream mind control media has fed you. And mock the foreign policy of the founders.

bodiless99 2 months ago
LOL, now you guys like Newt. Are you THAT desperate, or are you just dumb? Pajamasmedia aren't conservatives, they are brainwashed Republican drones.
Ant1Live 2 months ago
@Ant1Live Say what you will...he is far more intelligent than Obama
IshYehudi613 2 months ago
@IshYehudi613 No, he isn't, but that is inconsequential. Newt is one of the most vile and evil of all of the candidates, and that is saying a mouthful considering who is running.
Ant1Live 2 months ago
@Ant1Live I could equally argue that Obama is 'Evil', but with regard to intelligence: I could merely point to Obama's failed policies domestically and abroad versus Newt's intelligent comments about the situation. The Obama Presidency is a failure as a whole...any president other than him would be better: even Cain or Palin
IshYehudi613 2 months ago
@Ant1Live I would include Democratic presidential candidates but nobody is going to run against Obama from his camp
IshYehudi613 2 months ago
ya know, I LIKE Pajamasmedia but this part I hate, where they change who the hope is everytime their previous candidate falls down in the polls.
SteelandSouls15 2 months ago
@SteelandSouls15 It goes by the general popular vote...currently Newt is leading
IshYehudi613 2 months ago
Pajamasmedia is the proof that neocon republicans are as corrupt and despicable as socialist democrats.
Newt is your hope now !? :)) A guy who thinks people should be arrested BEFORE committing crimes. Based on state decisions or what ?
You are just pathetic in trying to twist facts against the only candidate who's rational and for liberty and that is Ron Paul.
PS: What happened with your former "hopes": Bachmann, Perry and the rest of the establishment puppets on strings?
schmoukiz 2 months ago 14
@schmoukiz Based on conspiracy to enact crimes. Then again, human life may not mean all that to you
IshYehudi613 2 months ago
@schmoukiz Ron Paul being rational is contradicted by his foreign policy ideas. But, with respect, I find those who say he's "the only [insert positive trait here]" are just recycling talking points, regardless.
Xenomorphine 2 months ago
@schmoukiz Ron Paul wouldn't be bad but he isn't electible because not many people are willing to vote for him. It's either a "Mainstreem" Repub. or Obama. Take your pick

@schmoukiz Agreed! I used to be a huge fan and supporter of PJTV but not anymore. PJTV are just shills for the corrupt big government NEOCON and big corrupt DC establishment.

Shame on you PJTV

@schmoukiz You're drinking too much of Ron Paul's kool aid - you are being lulled into an illusion of being secure and safe without a solid foreign policy. And nobody thinks people should be arrested before committing crimes.
OddRobb 2 months ago

@gibblitvision
Actually...
The Libyain war is/was about Libya's 'sweet-oil'.
ENDtheFED2012 2 months ago
@gibblitvision
Actually...
The Afghan War is/was about 3 oil pipelines in the north of that country and over 1.8 Trillion $ in minerals used in industy.
All 3 lines were complete 3 years after the US invaded.
China is now cutting deals (with US based companies and the US Gov't) to mine those minerals.
ENDtheFED2012 2 months ago
@gibblitvision
Actually.....
The Iraqi war was/is about the Federal Reserve Note.
In 2000 Saddam switched the Iraqi oil trade from the FED Note (US dollar) to the Euro.
This gave Iraq a 17% jump in profit.
Other OPEC countries started looking into doing the same thing.
This put the FED Note in jeopardy as 'world reserve currency'.
If the Petro-dollar switched from the FED Note to the Euro...the FED would no longer be the worlds bank.
The FED was NOT having it!
ENDtheFED2012 2 months ago
Fuck Newt. Just another empire troll doing what he's told.
RON PAUL 2012!
alielbaryeshua 2 months ago
@Dukefanforever4 First of all, the conspiracy nuts promote Ron Paul because they view the election of Ron Paul as president as part of the solution to the problems on which they base their conspiracy theories. Secondly, many of the people supporting Ron Paul happen to believe in one or more conspiracy theories and view him as part of the answer to the underlying problems backing said conspiracy theories.

ENDtheFED2012 2 months ago
@Heathh49008 "You do know that it is illegal to report to the media that a Patriot Act Warrant has been served on you... right?" - Well that doesnt help either arguement, because its impossible to tell how many IF ANY AMERICAN citizens have been under surveillence. At that point neither side has ammunition to say that the patriot act has or hasnt been used on innocent American citizens. I dont support the Patriot act, neither do I strongly condemn it.
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@Heathh49008 "then cry to some politician" -Like I said, I havnt seen the evidence from either side that the Patriot act is either necissary or useful or a violation of our rights. I would have liked it better to have the FBI and CIA more flexibility in the ways that their inability to respond and get in touch with the right people lead to 9/11 but I dont think the Patriot act is the end of our constitional rights, not while Obamas in the white house. And I'm not a neocon, nice mature man.

@groam6666 lol, I am a 3rd year medical student and I spend nearly all my free time volunteering for Ron Paul. This is not democrat vs. republican or lib/cons. This because Ron Paul is the only candidate who hasn't sold himself to special interests. Of course, there are some guys supporting Ron Paul because he wants to decriminalize weed (although he is morally against it) to end the drug war, which is why you see some OWS type supporters within the Ron Paul supporters.
bartek4443 2 months ago
@Dukefanforever4 I don't think the military support for Paul is so selfish as just wanting to come home. Yes they want to come home, but the reason that many of them joined the military in the first place was to defend the constitutional freedom that America stands for. At least in my own case, support for Paul is a matter of honor and principle. If I'm willing to go so far as to join the military and possibly die for freedom, then of course I'm going to vote for it, too.

As a victim of crime or terrorism, where are my rights? It's sad when the rights of criminals or terrorists becomes paramount in a legal system. The victims are often left penniless and with no possibility to seek reparations.
At a certain point, principles become just as twisted as those who have none.
groam6666 2 months ago
@groam6666 You're the one who is twisting the issue if you think that this is about elevating the rights of criminals. The real issue here is about protecting the innocent, not the guilty. First, you have to confirm that they really ARE terrorists, and not just some everyday joe who was unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and got accused for looking suspicious. You cry for your rights, yet are so eager to give them up to overzealous witch hunters.
Shanockdotcom 2 months ago
@Shanockdotcom The Patriot Act allowes any district court judge in the United States to issue surveillance orders and warrents for terror related investigation, which was not the case before. So, the government can't legally wiretap or investigate someone randomly.
I think that's reasonable. So, if the FBI has to go through the courts to get permission, how are innocent Americans at risk of witch hunts? I'm thinking your going to say now, "courts are evil and it's a conspiracy."
groam6666 2 months ago
@groam6666 What on earth makes you think I'd say something like that? I was responding to your comment, in which you ranted about rights, as if anyone in this debate was trying to protect actual terrorists. Your reply is a complete non-sequitur.

@groam6666 yeah the entire judicial branch is loving and caring. By the way how do their boots taste after you lick them so much?
TheEbonicslover 2 months ago
@TheEbonicslover They taste a bit salty, but I enjoy it to much to stop. Not every opinion against what you believe is a conspiracy. I understand what your saying, but the judicial branch acts as a stamp of legitimacy. I agree that the right person, pushing the right button, at the right time is unlikely to ever be found. I get that, but the law is the law, and it's not nearly as bad as a judicial branch under the control of the govt.
groam6666 2 months ago
@groam6666 Let me just sum it up briefly in the simplest way one can. Anyone who rejects the notion that governments don't attract criminals over time is either retarded or criminal. There is simply no other explanation for this phenomenon. Oh yeah the false flag operations were done multiple times historically and it's documented but of course not in the recent history. Yeah the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus are also real!

leeuniverse 2 months ago 3
@leeuniverse Okay... Domestically, the Patriot Act could be construed such as to pertain only to people who, for instance, killed or tried to kill a politician to advance a political goal, but it could also be construed to apply to someone who beats the living daylights out of another person in front of a crowd to make a statement (political or not), but we will never know since the OFFICIAL interpretation of the Patriot Act is TOP SECRET. That is why people are crying foul over it.

My regards that you chose to reply in a respectful manner; certainly such is always appreciated. To be perfectly honest, I too share different viewpoints as to his foreign policy.

@KingDingaLing090
All you have to do is Google the name Ashton Lundeby.
You can Google a name, can't you?
.
How about the Librarian from Hartford, Conn. that was given a 'gag-order' by the FBI and resisted it.
Google the name 'George Christian', executive director of Library Connection and the patriot act.
You can Google that name,.....can't you?

@ENDtheFED2012 Yeah okay, I googled it and the first legitimate source that popped up said the whole thing was hoax by mother Annette Lundeby. Her son was not detained under the patriot act. Are you going to cry now? Let that soak in. Just let it all soak in. Then say something else. You piece of shit. Lol

@KingDingaLing090
Also.....Google this.
Ron Paul voters score highest on IQ test.
.
