The fly I use is an imitation of a kelp fly maggot. It's a basically a curl of yellow foam on a size 14 hook. It's always fished with an indicator about 8 inches from the fly.
Thatchcottageireland, what flies are you using in this video? Ive landed hundreds of mullet by groundbaiting with bread until they begin to feed on it, then presenting a white woolen fly which either floats or sinks very slowly. Would love to avoid the necessity of groundbaiting though.

What sort of flies would you reccomend, as I like to fish for trout-a lot easier to catch than mullet
