I'm sorry guys, but you're looking at a piece of cheap GM trash. It has nothing in common with what made Saab Saab. What makes a real Saab real is being able to crash head-on into a moose in 90 KPH, and the moose sliding OVER the car without giving it a scratch. Because of a windshield pole that stretches all the way down to the wheel because the designers were engineers, not economists. Making it a STURDY car. And now they're employing economists designing trash.

The new 95 is still a saab. You cant expect them to make everything inhouse (yet), and it will be a great car. Hopefully as saab gain some success agin they will be able to make cars with less reliance on other comapanies platforms. And they do still do the moose test on the lates saabs.

lol, they do a "moose test" which consists of two very sharp turns to see how a car would handle AVOIDING a moose. They used to do moose tests on how the car would handle NOT avoiding the moose.

And you say all this because you're ignorant. Because you don't know anything about how the 900 was created by engineers, while the later models were created by economists. Do you have any idea of the suspension buildup of the 900? It's insane, but it's too expensive to produce so they don't anymore.

its so sad saab is closing (just announced yahoo news). i bought a 900 turbo like a month ago in november and got all interested reading small saab site posts about its downfall . saab hadnt been mentioned in major mainstream news for a while and before i knew it, i heard it on yahoo but i guess its no surprise for those who looked at the downhill path it was on especially in the past month (384 m loss 08') isuppose i rescued a saab from a junkyard but poor parent. Another GM victim :(

Past month? Just look at the past years. My family proudly owns four 9000s, but I'm the first to admit that the 9000 was the first descent into GM's converting it into an Opel.

I've got my fair share of experience, with six 900 classics in the family as well as those 9000s and a 9-3. =) None of the 9000s is as nice as the 900. You have no idea how different the communication from that car is vs. the 9000. It tells you EVERYTHING! I wouldn't give up my 900 for a brand new BMW.

Saabs future is certainly very bright and must be applauded on their come back from the recession. I have a feeling that the aero X could be the basis of a new sonettt. Cant wait. Saab are back!
