  • Man! 3 dislike's, what his doing here is total genius, if you cant dig this, then just stick with back beat on 2 & 4 then bass drum 1 & 3, then watch other video which does not tackle complicated topic...

  • There are a lot of things I would like to say about this, but I think the most succinct is what he said last - " This is not a toy ".

  • both are metric modulations because of they are meter and tempo changes, the 3/4 to 6/8 modulates from dotted quarter note = quarter note whereas the 4/4 to 6/8 is just quarter note = dotted quarter note (shifting from the duplet to triplet feel)
