I am looking for a good camera but not too costly to dabble with time lapse. I currently use a Canon digital camera that does time lapse in 1fps and 2 fps.

Have you tried time lapse? Have you tried to tripod mount the camera to shoot the moon?

I was considering a JVC but the Sumsung despite being less costly seems to be a better camera.
