  • Amen, great testimony! Hell never ends thats a scary thing, you cannot comprehend being tormented for millions after millions of years, eternity. it will not stop and that is shocking and it is not worth living life the way you want and rejecting salvation through our Lord Jesus.

  • I saw real blood on the real moon Jan. 14, 2006. God is going to judge the world, but first He offers His mercy through Jesus Christ's sacrifice. It is His blood that can wash away all stain of sin an make you pure enough to live in Gods eternal majestic supernatural Kingdom. Please check my web site, I don't see anything. tenwaiting4jesusdotpodbeandotcom. Jesus is the LION of the tribe of JUDAH, the second Adam who did NOT EVER sin, so He could shed His innocent blood for us, the guilty.

  • @sislt777

I meant I don't sell anything. :). Someone at my work was going on and on how he thought all the intolerant people should be eliminated. He kept going on and on until up out of my spirit right there in front of all my fellow employees I cried, WOW that IS REALLY INTOLERANT. He kind of understood his hypocrisy after that and sort of blushed... hum...

  • If you preach in public you should be scrutinized. It doesnt work like if an atheist talks about religion in public you condemn them and if a christian talks about dont challenge them. I would gladly ask her if she really know if God exists. Also, reply to me if you want me to send you a video of why miracles and religious expriences are explained by science.

  • Stop praying in my schools and I will stop thinking in your churches.

  • Good job my sister in Christ!

God bless you for loving your neighbor as yourself:)

  • It's a miracle that he gave his life to Christ just in time. God has so much mercy. Many die in their sins and are so stubborn, they end up going to hell. All they had to do was repent and they would have eternal life. It breaks my heart that people refuse to ask God for forgiveness.

  • My goodness. A man who was facing death and was obviously scared of dying, turned to religion to gain comfort as his life slipped away.

    Who'd have thought, eh?

  • @Widgetas are you ready to die?

  • Of course now, I'm in my mid 20's.

But I am of course assuming that is not a threat.

  • We cannot boast about tomorrow. Unnatural deaths happen all the time. What do you think waits for you on the other side?

  • Hehe - Ah, the argument from fear.

Do you want the long answer or the short answer?

    Short answer: Nothing.

    Long answer: Absolutely nothing.

Annihilation - the same thing I sat through for ~14G years before I was born.

Not in the least bit scary, and as I know a bit about the life cycle of stars, I know my atoms have a large chance of being part of another star/solar system, even after I have returned into the natural recycling of elements on this planet.

Seriously, I am not afraid of hell.

  • Your body dies, but your soul will see God. Either in joy or in terror at the judgment. If you are not afraid of hell you do not understand eternity. It is written that the smoke of their torment will go up forever and ever and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  • You (or anyone) is yet to prove that there is a soul.

I shall be in neither terror nor joy. I simply shall not "be".

If you do not understand why I am not afraid, then you have no seriously considered "eternity". As it happens I am a physicist and so am well aware of 'vast' numbers and other things that I'm fairly sure you don't even have the first idea about, concerning this Universe.

  • Tell me - where will the smoke go 'up' from, and what is burning. And if it is my 'soul' in torment then where do the 'teeth' that are gnashing some into the picture?

  • ( I meant "of course not")

  • I just got to say if this Uncle you have is getting talked to by things that can not be proven that is called schizophrenia . . . .

And I have a question why are you preaching out in a crowd when it is a persons CHOICE to accept religion or not?

  • That's not the def for schizophrenia.

Do some more research about Hell NDE/s

  • Amen, Sister! Hell is a REAL place and most people aren't aware of it & its eternal reality. Many go there unknowingly because of their lack of knowledge of the bible & its truths. They choose to live by their own means and standards instead of living by the word of God. I applaud what you are doing. Keep it up. God Bless you!

  • Where is hell?

    What colour are the walls?

    Who made it?

    What is burning?

How many 'souls' can it accommodate?

    Is there air?

  • @Widgetas hell was created by God for the devil and his angels.

It is believed to be in the core of the earth which is quite hot. (Matthew 12:40) 'Just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, sow ill the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.'

Hell is referred to as the bottomless pit. It will accommodate as many souls as choose to go there.

Once separated from your body you will not need food, water, air, sleep, but can still feel

  • @kyachris - When was hell created, and if it is for the devil why does god send man there.

I was under the impression that the "son of man" was Jesus.

"It is believed to be in the core of the earth which is quite hot. " - By whom?

Also "understatement of the year "...quite hot..." - You know the inner/outer core and mantle are cooling, don't you? That is to say it will not be as warm as it now is, forever?

  • Comment removed

  • Man is sinful by nature. We still today have the same option as was given in the garden, choose life or death.

The 'Son of Man' is a reference to the humanity of Jesus in that he was born into flesh and died on the cross bearing our sins. Although he himself was without sin. This does not deny his deity or the fact that he is risen.

  • "This does not deny..." - nor do your words prove a single thing.

Sort of a stalemate isn't it?

That could be because rather than provide the evidence (quoting from scripture - Sorry: the Jews can do that too, as can the Muslims. ) you simply make more assertions (ie. Jesus is god and came back from the dead).

We were talking about hell - Is any particular reason you're not carrying on the thread above this?

Or why you've not answered any questions above?

And you ask me why I don't believe...

  • Few things will convince someone without faith. (You brought up Jesus with your 'son of man' comment)

God will use the simple to confound the wise. Who is wise?

  • "Few things will convince someone without faith" means "Nothing will convince those who do not choose to believe without any evidence in the first place."

"God will use the simple to confound the wise. Who is wise?" by which I assume you mean "You don't understand it because you think you're wise and here in my book it says that god will fool people who think they're smart"

If you wish to convince me of the reality of hell then answer my questions.

Until then I am able to live without god.

  • First, you will need to define what you consider evidence.

Secondly, I apologize what question did I not answer?

  • What would I consider evidence... Well I could tell you what I wouldn't consider evidence - Bible quotes without anything else to back them up.

What question!??! Either you're joking you you assumed every "?" above was rhetorical. Some were, but some really weren't.

Try the questions I left at the end of the last thread for starters?

  • Ever seeing but never perceiving, ever hearing but never understanding.

Widgetas, If Jesus appeared to you would you receive him?

  • "Ever seeing but never perceiving, ever hearing but never understanding." - You know I can say that right back at you?

Simply because you've decided to accept without evidence (faith) does not mean you have some sort of higher wisdom. In fact it makes you gullible.

  • I would not receive "this man called Jesus" without asking a whole ton of questions before hand.

I wonder if someone appeared in front of you and said "I AM JESUS!", would you accept him straight away? I don't think you would, considering how many people there are in the world who claim to be him (you can find them in many an asylum)

  • @Widgetas we are told that many will come in his name so no I wouldn't. When Jesus returns every eye will see.

  • And how would you know it was him?

  • Revelation gives vivid detail.

  • I like how all the answers are getting shorter and shorter.

What happens when the Revelation occurs and Mohammed returns to earth to lead the Muslims in triumph?

  • @Widgetas the Christians will have been raptured to heaven. So they wouldn't be involved....Mohammed never claimed to be a god.

  • @Widgetas Jesus DID say "I AM" He never denied it when people called him that. He never lied...People had to "get" some of it for themselves. He did say "whoever has seen me has seen the Father" "I and the Father are one."

  • @Rainy64 - "people had to 'get' some of it for themseves" hehe!

    Ok yeah.

    Mysterious chap, wasn't it?

By the way... not to be a stickler, but is it possible to prove Jesus said anything he is supposed to have said, outside of the gospels?

You know, just wondering, seeing as they don't even agree with each other.

Grr pesky non-believing evil atheist requiring evidence. Grrr...

  • @Rainy64 - Whoops I removed my comment by mistake.

    I shall repeat it:

"So far as I know, Jesus never claimed to be god either"

  • @Widgetas . He did accept the title...You would need to know some of the Jewish traditions to understand what he was saying to the Jews. The Jews used a lamb offered to God as the offering to forgive sins....Jesus called himself the good shepard---- The gospels seem to be more true because they are NOT word for word identical. John's gospel, Jesus is shown as GOD. Luke's Gospel is Jesus as man, Matthew's gospel is Jesus as King and Mark's is Jesus as a suffering servant.

  • @Rainy64 - That is wonderful. No, really. Ok, I'm going to be cynical because I've never had a belief in any of the faiths on offer. But this is the first time I've heard it claimed that the gospels are "more true" because they do not agree with each other.

Oh, don't worry: I understand what you're saying. I just find it very funny.

Btw - Did you come to the conclusions about the 4 different Jesusesesses or did your pastor tell you that?

  • @Widgetas Have you ever read witness accounts of some event? They NEVER have EXACTLY word for word account. They stress different things because of their backgrounds. Some people might notice clothes, others are better at faces, others at mannerisms. Same idea in the Gospels. Jesus DOES call himself God.."I AM."

  • @Rainy64 - Yes, the different eye witness account idea... Call me an idealist but seeing as this was supposed to be THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENT in human history... then damn you'd think they'd at least get things vaguely coherent? No?

"Some people might notice..." what words were said by the SON OF GOD as he dies on the cross?

But again, as I tell other people who believe in a god/s, so long as I see no evidence for a god over all... it doesn't really matter whether a man called Jesus existed.

  • @Widgetas .(Check out something in the old testament...genesis Noah, Book of Ruth and Book of Job.. very time their names come into the wording the 5th time...their name is mentioned...something about their finding "grace or favor with God" is ALSO mentioned. (Look up the meanings of the names of the first 10 men named in geneology..Adam.........to Noah)...

  • @Widgetas But see you DECEIVE yourself. You remind me when JESUS CHRIST shares the TRUE story (not a parable) of the Rich man that went to Hell and how "even if one should come back from the DEAD they still will NOT BELIEVE." You will NEVER be CONVINCED of HELL. Because YOU DONT WANT TO BE CONVINCED. Unfortunately, if YOU DON'T REPENT and HUMBLE YOURSELF TO GOD, you WILL BE CONVINCED - WHEN ITS TOO LATE.

  • @LPATWILLFILM - Interesting that you have to shout at me (mmm caps) in order to try and get your message across.

    Have you experienced hell, then?

By the way, can you do me a favour and point to where god creates hell in the OldTestament? I can't seem to find it...

  • Why do you people ALWAYS focus on hell? When was the last time you read any passages on FORGIVENESS? If that doesn't work for you than read timothy2:12.
