what the hell are you talking about? you are talking about post war Europe like you watched it all unfold. you cant be more than like 35. even if you were born in 1970 you wouldn't have any decent world view until you were like 13 in which case you would have only lived in a world with any real knowlege of the ussr's affect on the world for 7 or 8 years until it fell. don't even remember the names of the people who wrote the books. sit down and be quiet.
i get the feeling you dont like the idea of a welfare state
personally i dont either, i like having a welfare system within my democratic state, and trust me, it works just fine, but it happens that i live in a country that defends it. harshly, by very tough immigration laws, and all though there are a very minor percentage of citizens that abuse the system, we dont have huge chunks of immigrants doing it
I (from the UK by the way) for one have always supported the Iraq war from the start and never changed my mind as it got uncomfortable to do so... I only hope if withdrawal is done that it is done for the best interests of the Iraqi people and not any political reasons or pressure from the populous of any nation...
You're very well informed on these issues. I think it's plain sad that Europe and the USA cannot unite, unfortunately there a lot of people who cannot get off their moral high-horse, and like to blame everything on the USA. Anti-Americanism is fairly mainstream, and a lot of uninformed idiots like to just jump on the bandwagon and brainlessly repeat the mantra "American is bad, America is bad."
I think now, more than ever, cooperation and friendship across the pond is essential for our future.
What a redneck!

mind you, not keeping a 2.2 children per family isn't a bad thing.
its not like we want to continually populate the globe, we have quite enough atm.

What I don't like is that those wars didn't have UN support. They are illicit wars, an act of terrorrism carried out by the US and State 51 (UK).

America no longer exists, it has become a concentration camp for business owners.

Just a note, anarcho-capitalists, such as 'Stefbot', have made similar claims about America's destruction of Iraqis via sanctions.

Actually, I think Stefbot was the place I heard that one.
