Victor is the shit man. Love all that stuff. That's the thing though, you have to see through all that. Technicality does not make a good musician. Feel does, musicality does. This bassline is beautiful because it's simple and there's space. People can listen to it and really feel it because it's NOT complex. This is the kinda stuff you can just listen to with your heart. No odd meter, no weird scales. It's not Teen Town, but it has an excellent feel.

A perfect example of how a well-written song doesn't need blinding guitar solos, screaming vocals, and over-the-top drumming to transport a listener.
