Airshots are hard, and even though he's good at them, they are risky. Why wouldn't you shotgun someone in the air and them use rockets to battle them on their landing?

@MasterZealot09 Because Platinum's trying to airshot him legitimately and play respectfully. TLR is just shooting at him with the shotgun(which is exponentially easier) when he jumps.

I played two rounds of this against one of my friends and after those 2 rounds of crazy deathmatching my hand was in severe amount of pain i couldnt play anymore that night after seeing this i really wonder if this guys are working out or have some special training cause my right hand would fall of after that 3rd round

Yeah, I feel like Platinum really got screwed in his choice of gunboats for the granary last point round. It looked like TLR always had the better position or height advantage if he knew Platinum would have to make the first move and bomb in. TLR really worked those corner shots too, peeking out a little for a shotgun hit then back again behind the rock. The airshots from both of them tho *jaw meets ground* :P

I know in the first and second fights, it really seemed like platinum had a few moments here and there it would've been a good idea to pull out the shotgun to secure a few kills instead of using rockets--allowing TLR to kill him and heal from critical health. However, while I don't play TF2 myself, I'm assuming that they can't see each other's health and platinum merely didn't want to risk assuming that TLR had critical health.

@ElvenNoble Players can see the amount of damage done to their opponent, numbers I shoulda included in this recording. Off those numbers, and knowing that players spawn with 250 health (in this mod), you can guesstimate where your opponent is at.

@drewbobaloobob Stock is used most of the time. Occasionally roaming soldiers will swap out to DH to defend high ground, but you need to have incredible aim with it if you want to make it worthwhile.

awesoem vid but can someone answer my question, i see demoman and medics seem to be the best classes for competitive play, how come theres only 1 of each on each team. and what are the competitive weaons for the scout, soldier,demo,, and medic classes? it seems only kritz seem to be the only weapon out of the stock selection thats used in competition

@narutolover101 There are class limits that limit demos and medics to one per team. Most of the classes are used with their vanilla loadouts, besides the equalizer, the kritzkrieg, the gunboats, and the ubersaw. There may be more, I don't remember.
