of course this surgery works and to stop eating isnt as simple as that , im actually lucky i was only a couple of stone overweight and could afford to take myself to belgium and pay the 5 grand for a lapband earlier this year im a happy size 10 after only 4ml of fills put in me : ) so all you fatties dont wait till you are 10 stone overweight : ( and been unhappy for so many years . do what i did nip it in the bud and if your a unhealthy eater who sees weight creeping on then go for it !!!

Before you go for an operation costing thousands of pounds or dollars why not consider hypnotherapy to help with weight loss and have a virtual gastric band fitted in the process. It is worth a try before you go to theses lengths, surgery is always a last resort.

@steelcitybxr people over eat for many reasons, you cant just say stop eating like a pig because its not always that easy

My doctor had this done in May and it worked for him. I never heard of lap band surgery until I saw him. He said the whole thing was done on an outpatient basis and took about 5 hours. It's not the same as gastric bypass surgery. Good thing about this is there's no cutting on the stomach and intestines. I'm thinking about getting a lap band.
