No. Mia Ikumi and Reiko Yoshida made the Tokyo Mew Mew manga. They also made Tokyo Mew Mew a la mode (the sequal manga).

I wouldn't be suprised Ichigo sort of reminds me of minimoon with the pink hair and the heart thing. After tmm transforms they freeze in some pose just like Sailor moon and they're both animes. In the black dream hole episode of sailor moon one guy looks ALOT LIKE Kishu.
