I think, subconsciously, that another reason Reid was mad at JJ was not just for faking Prentiss's death, but I think VERY deep down he thought that JJ abandoned the team for taking her promotion in Season 6 and he never forgave her for it.

@joshmully1 umm.....Order of credits: Rossi, Prentiss, Morgan, REID, JJ, Garcia, Hotch. So, ere go, REID is a main character as much as Garcia. Garcia is smart, I'll give you that, but Reid has an IQ of 187, and Eidetic memory and can read 20,000 words per minute. He's provably a genius. And, might I add. This is a TV show. Not real life. Matthew Gray Gubler might not be as smart as his character, but that doesn't mean he's a knobhead.

People were freaking about this episode and how it was dumb how Reid was acting like a child. Its been stated numerous times that Reid's the baby of the family and knows everything he know from books, no real life experience. For him, losing Emily was like losing a close relative like a sister. Its was probably one of his first deep experiences with grief. It would make sense that he would throw a temper tantrum.

He was eventually saved by his colleagues but kept on taking drugs and had an addiction pb. I am not sure that all the details are exact, but I believe he refered to that when he said "would you have let me". And I'm sorry but JJ/Reid nor JJ/Prentiss can't happen given the fact that JJ is married and has a baby
