Can anyone tell me if you can do this after the main quest or do you have to beat all the side missions before completing the game?

you should mention how high of a level you are and your weapons as well. Someone might watch this and not notice and then attempt it and be pissed when they die in 13 seconds. But AMAZING victory btw! when I get leveled up fairly high, i'm going to attempt this.

I beat this thing in 2 minutes with no healer...party of fang lightning and snow, i went to offense and defense constantly and found that it was easy. i was around your stats

Drawing the seedlings in with the Sentinel, then using Fang's Blitz and Hope's AOE spells while they were all gathered together attacking Snow. I thought that was ingenious, bro.

its great how every one their own style of tackling this. I chose to place emphasis on reducing pollen so i had every one have 4 physical damage thinjgs that reduces deproctect chances then get hope to haste protect bravery and veil on everyone so then any debuffs will just be cancelled out or not happen and that leaves just the minor few debuffs to take care of after pollen allowing me to resume attack quickly

You did very well on that battle. That was a difficult battle for me, and I was at post-game levels...I'm bad at this game. People say that this game is too easy, but I think that they just mash the auto-battle command...it's hard to formulate command chains manually at the rapid fire pace that the game demands, let alone the right ones for a given situation. I'll be replaying this game so that I can handle FF13-2 when it comes out.

i did it easy,at a way lower level,as in,snow didnt even have 10000 hp,basically,i got everyone a random instant chain(speed sash,energy sash etc)then i just battered him till i staggered him,the i got my eidolon out,so im full health again,then the second they got a full gestalt,i do gestalt mode,then mash "a"then use your level 3 ability,he will have fuck all health left,so...i just battered him,before you ask,i used snow,lightning and hope

You sure gonna suffer a lot if you do that tough...I'm not telling you it's not a challenge cause it is and I congratulate you for that. Still...99,9% of the people don't do that way and this was the only video I found with this strategy, now my question is...why?

This guy not an easy dude. You have to spam death until it works and then summon Vanille's Eidolon for the rest of its minions and it's done. I finished this mission yesterday and I even obtained a trophy because I did more than 100000 damage (something like that) in one hit, surelly it was the Eidolon staggered the minions. 5* included. I wish I could upload that bitch to Youtube "I thought".'Cause I know I'll never be able to do something like that again. ^^

@OerbaFunYang I guess you are right now...What you need to remember is that this video was made nearly a year ago while the game was fresh..As time goes on people learn more about the game and strategies improve..This can now even be done in NCU, but I was one of the first people to beat Neochu in chapter 11 without summoning or using instant chain..If I allowed those 2 I could have done it in very low levels too, but that was my challenge...I guess its becoming outdated now..

You can only go so low. You can't expect 5 stars from a party of anything less than 10K HP.

@Slohcin1820 Its been a while since i last played, but using Vanille/Death on Adamantoises seems a good way to make money, they drop Platinum Ingots which sell for 150000 Gil...I think thats how i made money, but check around, there are lots of "Gil Making" guides around on youtube, if you dont want to kill Adamantoises...

@Slohcin1820 also, if you run around with a chocobo, you can dig up hidden treasures. they usually contain gold dust or gold nuggets. gold dusts are worth 15, 000 gil while the nuggets cost 60,000. i made about 600,000 in 2 hours. i wasn't really paying attention to the time due to the fact that i was running around doing mark missions. i didn't even notice i had 600,000 gil! :D

i just wanted to mention that if you want to redo a specific input after manually doing it, just go to (abilities) and press right on the d-pad to switch it to (repeat)it will just repeat, eg: u enter blitz,blitz,blitz. if u choose repeat it will redo blitz,blitz,blitz

@vaztard1 Fang is very strong so it really depends on what ability you want, in chapter 11 i decided to go for the debuffing ability, just make sure her strength is boosted well by her weapon and maybe 1-2 accessories, i wouldnt say there is a specific weapon that is needed, a high level 2 tier should do it...

@ZagaraVale I dont quite remember, but for some reason it was better off for me to kill off all of the seedlings rather than leave one alive, i think the respawning of seeds is preset, i.e it will do it at 75% health regardless of how many seeds are already out there, but its been 2 months since i touched the game so i could be wrong :P

@dansg08 I was quick to the gun on that. My problem with it was how high your HP is. cause im where you can warp in chapter 13 and my highest person is at 8000. I didnt take into consideration what accessories you had. Regardless, its a good video!!

I got lucky tonight, I just finished the mission, and first try at successfully completing it, I get 5 stars! The match was between 2-3 min, the Neochu did not reach his Screech attack, as Death managed to get him. After that, I summoned Vanille's Eidolin and there was only one picochu left for me to finish off. Viola, Growth Egg + 5 star rating at once. :)

I can't remember if she does (pretty sure she does) but if Fang has Veil it is VERY worth using after screech on at least Fang/Hope before pollen hits. Veil reduces the chance of debuffs landing on your party members which means instead of having 4-6 debuffs per character to dispel, you only have 2 or 3.

@dansg08 heh, np. Veil is helpful later on in the game too. especially on the second phase of the last boss. Once he's down to 50% he gains a lot of new debuffing abilities and Veil will let you keep the hurt on longer instead of having to rebuff!

@HyperSonicXtreme Yep, that is how i first did it, but this was a challenge, i wanted to beat all 64 missions without the use of death, i would recommend that most people use the death method to win...

Nice video! I was wondering if you can swap out Snow for Lightning. Will Elude + Nimbletoe Boots make her require less healing than Snow? If so, wouldn't she have better Magic and Strength than Snow, thus allowing her to deal more damage. In addition, if Lightning requires less healing as a Sentinel, that would allow Hope to deal more damage.

@KidsSayNoobALot Sounds like a plan, i would try it out, maybe its a better tactic, i dont think Lightning has enough HP to survive as well as Snow can, and im not sure how many of Neochu's attacks can be evaded, i only made this video to show how to get 5* during chapter 11, not the BEST way to win, so try out your method and let me know if it works :)

@dansg08 Hehe, it'll take a while, actually. I haven't upgraded any weapons and I've started playing from the beginning (sucker for stories :P). I must say your low stat challenge has inspired me to do the same once I get to chapter 11. Just one question, did you start the challenge after beating the chapter 11 boss (right before taking the airship)? If I remember correctly, that opens up the stage 9 skills. Thanks!

@KidsSayNoobALot I did start it after beating the boss, most of the missions i have uploaded are not really possible without the crystarium upgrade you recieve after beating the chapter 11 boss, so i beat that and then went back and 5*'ed all the missions before i took the airship. Once you get to Crystarium stage 9 you can beat every monster in the game with 5* (even long gui) as i have shown, so good luck with your challenge, it is pretty tough :)

this is b4 ch12 right. did max out all the roles and if u did can tell me a good way of doing this wen the 3 teamates im using's hp is below 7000. i manage to do death on the neochu but the little 1s atak faster than vanille can heal em. how did u manage 2 get trapezohedrons

@TERRA224 Well i have not beat this thing with under 7000HP before, unless i use death, if you are using death then i would have Vanille/Snow as a Sentinel and Hope as a healer, give them all HP boost items and use Synergists to give them Haste/Protect...but it wont be easy, if your in chapter 11 just level up a little bit more til you get to 8-9000HP and you should win using the death trick easily...

@TehElcan Yes you can, if you check my videos i have 9000+ for all my characters except Hope, i think you need to defeat the chapter 11 boss, then go back and do the missions, if you dont go on the Airship after you beat the boss then you wont trigger chapter 12...i still think its possible with stage 8 crystarium if your using death, just need to have better accessories/a bit more luck...
