But yeah they both came out almost around the same time so it could be just a coincidence that they have some similarities. So if I'm wrong my mistake.

HOLY SHIT is this a good trailer! Most movie trailers from the 1980s seem really dated today, but this one is incredible. I love the way they edited the clips, Tim Curry's monologue is excellently scary, and that tagline is one of the best I've ever heard.

If this movie is ever remade it would just get messed up with a bunch of computer generated images. What I loved about the movie is the makeup and costumes. Mia Sara was so pretty in this movie. Ridley Scott has made some of the greatest films ever. and he did it without CGI.

I love this movie, well I love a lot of FANTASY, SCIENCE FICTION and HORROR.  I was watching stuff like this when I was a baby. Space, Legends, and Scary Stuff I LOVE. The Terminator, Legend, Hellraiser, Alien, Predator, Willow, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Highlander, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Robo Cop, Friday the 13th, The Thing, star Trek, Escape from NY/LA, Conan, Red Sonja, Phantasm, and a lot of others.
