The "hoopla" is that pro-cure autism organizations like Autism Speaks think that autism is worse than AIDS, cancer, diabetes, fatal car accidents, and being struck by lightning put together. When in reality, they are making a big fuss over nothing and that autism is just a natural human difference. They use propagandizing ads as a way to fund research into a possible future eugenic screening, or GENOCIDE. Not only that, there is a video where a mother of an autistic child cont.
I agree, as the director producer of the spot, I also am familiar with what Jonathan (the founder who knows Autism as much as you do) is doing. And yes what he means by "cure" it's all that may result in; educating and helping to do what it takes to get all those who are ignorant and don't understand to finally understand what this is, definitely not something we can capture in 30 sec spot. I am an Autistic Adult and we r not kidnapped. I am glad to be autistic and so r many others if u dont tell us that we r sick and need to be cured our who life then we understand its a gift with a few strings but thows strings that go with autism are not anything to fear without help and care and understanding from thows around us. If yall nerotipicals came out with a "cure" today i would be hunted down and forced to change who I am. It is apart of who we are. So take ur cure to the nurotipical
