I'll never look at OK Computer the same way again. I always thought Kid A was miles better, but now...

@AustinBrock Thanks for the well wishes. Put my kids to bed last night and spent hours combing through all of this stuff. Oh...and I am now subscribed to your channel. Hope you have a great rest of the weekend as well.
watched this for first time last night. i was crying with euphoria for most of it because i was so fucking stoned. radiohead are the closest thing to heaven.
THis is by far, the most awesome channel in youtube. YT partners are mostly a bunch of wankers. This is an incredible channel and Radiohead should support your efforts.
God that guy around 43:00 is annoying. "Colin found it all a bit strange. Colin probably enjoyed himself although he pretended not to. Colin is like that."
@PropTheGanda I find it hard to defend when people say things like "Oh, so I'm meant to feel sorry for a load of rock stars with loads of money - have they ever had real jobs" but you can't imagine how it feels. Money isn't everything to some people and if your hobby is your passion and life and it feels like you can't do it any more then surely that feels alienating, minimally.
Just watched the whole thing. Interesting to see. It also gives me hope seeing these guys are very down to earth and normal. I hope to be just as great as them one day.
brock man, just doesn't stop making me happy with all these radiohead videos i keep finding out about (as i'm quite new to the band) and how he already has them up on his youtube.
@julz1278 it is just an instrumental, you can find it on the Towering Above The Rest collection,CD 18.It sounds like Paranoid Android early concept to me :)
This documentary matches the album. Carries a ton of emotion. Shows how they stumbled on the sounds of Kid A to escape, and even shows some songs that weren't released until long after 1997. So interesting.
@Deppeltje The song is called "Follow Me Around" and has only ever appeared on this film, not any LP or EP or album. Thom has, however, on several occasions played it as a part of an encore in many concerts, mostly alone. That is all i got. Try searching "Meeting people is easy" on wikipedia. Might be something there about it...
anyone else feel better when they hear Thom Yorke warming up before a show? It humanizes him, and makes me feel like I could get to his level one day...
ive noticed that Radiohead is one of the few bands that doesnt seem to mind that much that full concerts of theirs are up on youtube. thats pretty awesome.
May I ask if I buy the DVD Meeting People Is Easy does it contain english subtitles? Because I am not a native speaker and dont understand when they are talking so fast... Thank you!
@boycalledtrash : I bought it some years ago and there is no subtitles in it ( sadly ... i'm french but i found some french subtitles on internet even though i haven't test them yet ).
The film is the self despair, destain, shallowness, arrogance & repeatitve tediousness of success of even the formation of a band that strikes critical accalaim & how they just want to be left alone with what they've created. but NO the mainstream media is presisant bedbugs are attach themselves to you unless you just remain naked with your art & be comfortable with what you decisions you & your bandmates make.
Radiohead in the year 2011 are still relevent to those who who remain on their side & continue to hold their fanbase tight & create music sorely for themselves & their core audience, the world could give the world to Radiohead & theyd spit on their pricess suits & shatter those records & brush off the acclaim because in the end it really means nothing. The media are mongers & radiohead are the anit media darlings & we are the elite love them for what they've given us sincve 1993.
wow the music at the 49 minute mark sounds amazing.I bet they have so many great songs they have not even put on an album. What's the song at the 12o minute mark a nasty surprise wow..
I've never seen someone so disinterested in performing a song as Thom does during that performance of creep 10 minutes in. Quite entertaining in a weird way really.
Amazing amazing amazing. What a treat to hear a hard version of Nude at the end. I love these guys, and feel bad that they have to go through this stuff
I love how Thom is playing how to disappear completely on the stage like 3 years before kid a came out, im guessing that was footage from 97. Makes me wonder how long before albums come out that the artists write their songs. Well mainly how long before Radiohead's albums come out.
watched it today...besides the sometimes really annoying sounds and cuts, it was great seeing the beginning of their worldwide success...it wasn't easy for them.
