Chuck keep fighting man if you feel like it. You looked good against Franklin and had you winning the fight. You should fight in STRIKEFORCE or in DREAM if Dana won't let you fight in the UFC anymore. You still have the skills and the drive but your chin isn't what it used to be so you have to be extra cautious and protect it more but other than that I still seeing you able to win a lot of fights.

Cage fighters are good in the cage fighting cage fighters however take them out of their comfort zone and tell them to box with a boxer and they wouldn't stand a chance. One thing I can't stand is cage fighter wannabes!! They watch UFC, go to a gym where they'll do 'thai boxing' which is usually a kickboxing class, watch more UFC then think they are world beaters and that all other martial arts are shit. LIddel is a super smart guy and would be a great teacher. Unfortunately, if he did have a camp, it would be full of nothing but lawyers, doctors and trust-fund babies. A regular guy could never afford to train with him. Couture teaches at a gym near me. It's $500 an hour. Granted, there is no need to train with a top-level competitor until you are near that level, but a great teacher can get you there a lot quicker.

That said when you look at the top tier level of competition he fought up until the end, well that's an amazing accomplishment in itself. I believe that Chuck lost to Randy Couture and Jeremy Horn and beat them in the 2nd fight. Rampage is a VERY tough fighter with a hard head and chin so I can't hold that against Liddell.

Rampage Jackson is one of the hardest guys to knockout because, of his steal chin and head and, Chuck would rather trade punches than take it to the ground and try a submission. I think all the fighters Chuck lost to in the last couple years are about 10 years younger than him.
