I don't think I've ever seen an AK mag seated and loaded from a pouch like that. Looks upside-down to me, but you clearly got it to work very well and that's all that matters.

best part is the transition to pistol at 0:48 .. he switches; pulls trigger & has a failure to fire, but INSTANTLY racks the slide and continues-- nice muscle memory; didn't waste a second looking at his pistol like "WTF?"... very nice! can tell he's been doing this for a long time before this vid was made.

Just a question from a newbie, when you reload your AK without emptying the last mag, is there still a round in the chamber, and if it does do you still need to pull the lever (the one on the right I don't know the name) before shooting? Sorry if it sound stupid but I've never used firearms.

@aerhkkgn No, you don't need to pull the charging handle (lever) if you swap in mid-magazine, because there is a single round still inside the rifle.

That's why you always need to check rifles without magazines in them, because it's amazing how often people forget about that one bullet.

@crosshairs901 ur ignorant, the ak 47 and druganov are weapons in 2 different catagories that are uncomparable. assault rifle and sniper rifle. both are effective with what they are best for. try doing the kinda drills polenar is doing here with a long barreled, 10 round mag, scoped sniper rifle.

actually i have thought about it :)

the slant muzzle break does a really good job reducing muzzle climb but i will probably buy PWS (primary weapon systems) FSC47 compensator - ive heard so much about it and my friend has one for his H&K MR223

its regarded as the best compensator for an AK on the market so i just have to try it :)

AKs are accurate enough and really fun to shoot! I would definitely recomend one, especially if you have a low budget.

AKs are reliable and the work in almost all the harsh conditions, the only downside is that they are not ergonomical and they are not so friendly for picantinny accessories

The Yugoslavian AK is the best one I have fired thus far, The Valmet M76 is good too but I think the Yugo is a better all around design.

the only thing i resent to the yugo AK is that it doesnt have chrome lined barrel, gas tube and block

no, not really, it has the same recoil but my firm grip and good body posture reduces the muzzle rise

Awesome video! That was definitely bad ass! If you tried making a DVD you might be able to educate some shooters on using Kalashnikovs rather than the typical Armalite DVDs. And make a little profit on the side.

our military really fucked up when they bought the fn f2000 rifles - those are expensive, unreliable and constantly breaking down

seyr aug or any other rifle for that matter would be better then the f2000

this pouch works with m16/m4 and ak style magazines and its primarily made for airsoft

the pouch is made out of kydex so you can heat it with a blow dryer and modify it a bit
