But it was late and I was standing in the middle of Toxteth so it would have been my own fault! A gang of black lads starting talking to us, asking us where we were from and why we were there. They all had their faces covered and were literally checking us out to see what they could rob. Luckily the riot police turned towards where we were standing and they starting moving off.

Just check the YouTube account of resist2009, I came across this account and found all the reasons why people rioted! If people think that talk alone will bring the tyrants in power they are wrong, what were the rioters supposed to do when they were ignored?
