  • This is awesome....

Please tell me, who are the singers, and something more about this performance.....Please!!!!

  • It is a production conducted by John Elliot Gardiner. Dorabella is Rosa Mannion, Pamina on the William Christi Flute, and the Fiord.. is Amanda Roocroft. The men of the cast are Rainer Trost and Rodney Gilfry. I may have misspelled names.

  • Big thank you!

  • Nice job...I love this scene, and the Fiordiligi and Dorabella actually look like sisters!

  • it wasn't Mozart who was pessisimistic, because Mozart didn't write the text. It was Da Ponte who wrote the libretto, he created the story and the title.

  • It means 'all women are like this'

  • in spanish: así hacen todas. All the women do the same.

  • cosi fan tutti which means: Everybody does it like this.

It's a pessimist Mozart saying that everybody would do the same thing as the characters in this Opera (The women Cheat on their husbands and the Men don't trust on them).
