This is the most damage i've seen done at a critical mass but i've seen plenty of asshole moves done by the cops.

By the way. This bicyclist and the majority of the entire group are in violation of NYS traffic laws concerning the operation of bicycles on roadways. This bicyclist is violating the law by riding in the center of the roadway instead of on the far right. He is also required to yield to pedestrians in the roadway. No sound can be heard so we dont know what commands were utilized. But the bicyclist is violating law and doing so with intent to draw attention. Well he drew some.

Those quick to judge this with no actual experience should google critical mass and research their tactics......See they (as all protest groups do) create as much drama as possible. They often taunt the police for no other reason then to try and get under their skin. This is clearly what is happening and this is the cause for the escalation. Research the facts before commenting on a quick stream of video. This is not a group of bicyclists who the cops are "out to get".

it's so stupid the cop is saying the bike was riding "right at him" but the bike is clearly veering to avoid him, and the cop had to take 2-3 running steps forward to meet him.

I mean the only (*only*) question I might make in support of the cop's claim, would be if the cop thought he was in the path of the bike and tried to run forward to get out of the way, at the same time that the bike veered, and the cop thought the bike was aiming for him.

But let's face it, the video looks clear.
