He did not use a slide he used the first proto type of a fuzz pedal to come out the 1966 Sola Sound Tone Bender MKII. They were designed to be a sustain pedal but jim dunlop capitalized on them and turned them in to the fuzz pedals of today the fuzz face.

lol nice eye !! that'my 12 string up on the wall....no pedal, just a martshall amp with a boss ME-50, on MUFF....I believe Page used a slide for this solo
