I just bought some "Deerfly Patches" that stick on the back of your hat... tried my first one this morning on my morning walk (I live in a heavily wooded area)... walked 3 miles for an hour,
I had 18 deerflies stuck on the patch. My wife couldn't stop laughing when I turned around to show her the results.
I still had a few pesting me a bit, but never new that I would've had that many actually landing on my head each morning.
These patches work just as well as seen in the video. 60 minute run in rain - 20 flies caught. 35 run in another area 54!! The flies will still buzz around your head 1-2x's before getting caught, but then they stop. There can be a buzzing as a caught fly tries to get fee, but I hit my head lightly to get it to adhere fully and the buzzing stops. Follow directions on package - avoid touching sticky part - if it gets on skin, use baby powder. I pulled hair back so it would stick to tape.
