@kenny8331 I guess there's nothing wrong with practicing eugenics. It has been discredited as an idea but you can practice it if you want I suppose...

Maybe the uncle had super smoking resistance genes. Statistics are only valid for the types they apply to, that's why samples should be representative and large enough to be significant.
That said, smoking tobacco stinks and causes wrinkles.
The roots of the word "midget" imply that you are talking about half a person - which is offensive because little people are whole people even though they are small people. "Dwarf" simply means small so it's much more acceptable, though lately "little person" is becoming the standard.
He probably had Hydrocephalus as a child or something ;P No reason to think there's any extra brain in that skull... Either Hydrocephalus or Dwarfism...
I think the point here is that humans, for the most part, are fundamentally irrational. A lot people reading this will be INTJs and so tend to disagree, but taking the population as a whole this is probably true.
Dam im one of these people that likes facts and numbers. I remember when i was just a teenager trying to sell people PCs just by quoting them numbers. Took me a while to work people out. I think i was a bit autistic but im completly different now. Been working people out ever since and i think im pretty well grounded
We need to give important decisions proportionate time to properly evaluate them. Most people can be manipulated if forced into decisions in short time - does not matter if the manipulation is emotional or 'fact' based.
If we spend our time wondering on the possibilities of what may be rather than the end result then surely we shall miss out on the great experiment of life itself after all once our own personal flames have gone what do we have afterwards?mmmmm
I'd say anyone with an education WOULD, in fact, consider the statistics before smoking (to use his example) or doing anything else potentially dangerous.
that may very well be the case however as a statement "he has a big head" ergo notwithstanding the reason for the head being of a larger than normal size, the statement remains true and => should not be commented down....
