hey just a quick question. is lightwave hard to learn? i have the program but is kind of clueless lol but yeah any recommendations where i can get tutorials?
@TONGANMUViiEZ @TONGANMUViiEZ Basic stuff on lightwave is very easy. But if u wanna be more advanced, u might have to work with lightwave 4 a few years. On lightwave3d com, u will find free training videos. U might as well google what u need.
@lerikenchadze I don't think it is from anything. Yes it does look familiar to War of the worlds, but it may be just a free object to use it on. Like in Vue you only get 1 Cruise. But does that mean it's from Posiden? No Flaming great job though
@ADMediaEmpire I understood, but i was meaning with my comment, tthat its so professional work, its looks like Hollywood work.i just mean that you made awesome job like a Hollywood blockbuster FX master :)
Fair dooos :P I'm using this software and it's fantastic. I'm struggling at the moment cause I'm still getting used to it but it is amazing. Just so bloody expensive!!!! >:[ I'm going to try and get Lightwave. As long as you can do this sort of stuff in it then I'm pretty much sold.
This is very good. Where did you get the sound effect? Independence Day? The only critique I have is that the middle of the bridge breaks up into blocks that look too neat. I think you should make them a little more rugged and show some of the internal structure, such as thick metal wires poking out.
Awesome work. :) Seems to me that the bridge is collapsing and turning over a bit too early for my taste. But hey! It's dynamics - it's probably "supposed to be" like that? :)
Would be killer to get some guidelines to perform an act like that.
Look carefully at the bolts being fired against the bridge and how big and fast they are...they would cause a sudden explosion.
Anyway Lino should have subdivided the bridge a little more to get more not perfectly shaped blocks...but again that would have increased both calculation and render times.
So great work Lino and congratulations for the 1st place.
DAM THAT COULD BE IN A MOIVE
