I supported two of my favorite local area bands- one was a group called Kansas my friend's brother Kerry played in it- the other was Pavlov's dog - after seeing them in KC and hearing David I thought I knew who were to top the charts -o well it's all good now
@Playback007able Well, Rush's debut album single was a year ahead of PD's album, though the s/t Rush album was just a few months ahead of Pavlov's Dog's first one -- but I don't think David was trying to be deliberately derivative, that was just his vocal style. But Geddy was singing that way back in '70, at least in local Canadian markets.
