@Gizametalman Yeah I found out after I commented. But I got very disappointed to see that the 3DS doesn't have any pressure sensitivity when the DS Lite does... That's just stupid. But oh well..

You need to have a flashcart such as an R4 or a CycloDS then just put it into the games folder. You can download it for free. Just search for it on google :)

Don't recommend R4DS totally outdated and flooded with fakes, I suggest witha a Cyclo DS, TToy or an Ace Kard. Edge DS has too few updates and Super Card DS are all flimsy products which break easily (3 broken).

They are just version numbers, latest is _usually_ best, but try them out for yourself :)

You can also WIFI to a computer too using the DS's built in WIFI functionality

tsk, there are only three painting things on ds, excluding harvest moon (which has a wi-fi version of pictochat) and those are pictochat, paint by ds, and this homebrew which is called "Colors!" which is PRESSURE SENSITIVE! (it's true, i've tried it. i'm as dumbfounded as you are.)

its no where near as good on an emulator than when u use it on an r4 because computer mouses are hard too use and they cant sense pressure but a touch screen can so u can shade better

as far as i no you dnt near and R4 to save cause its now out on DS from a cartridge not downloadable

if u dwnload the PAINT then u need an RS simple or anything like that

yeah i'm having the same problem. i have the DLDI for my flach cart. and the patcher as well. but i don't know how extract files and use patching software(nor do i know where to get patching software)

After creating the character on the DS and saving it onto the memory card, I loaded Colors! and my save up using the iDeaS emulator on the PC.

Great application for the DS! I tried to use iDeaS emulator and so far I can load Colors.nds but cannot load any saved pics. Where did you have to put the *drw, *png and *tmb files to get them to load? Thanks

iDeaS only supports R4 DLDI. Therefore, I downloaded the R4 version of Colors!, copied my saved files into the R4 version directory, enabled R4 support in iDeaS and bingo. iDeaS loaded my saved files fine.
