2001 kona stab love that bike ride cross and fire roads mostly im geting to be quite the oldy now i also have an old cinder cone thats just a frame i wore out alll the parts and just seemed better to buy a new bike
Still have my 1996 dual suspension Kona Sex One (1st 4 bar design). Riding it hard and its still goin strong 14 years later....man I feel old... Upgraded everything except the frame and it's no different than riding a 2010 bike.. except for the 24 speeds and gripshift. RIP the Halson PDS for I bought for it years ago.
Tens of thousands of kilometers over 19 years. 3 chains, 2 cog stacks, 1 fork rebuild and running perfectly. Never trued the wheels in 19 years and still dead straight.
Hey, I'm old (52), haven't been on a bike in about twenty years and want to do a bit of flatland trail riding (Chrysler trail). What would you guys recommend?
HELP !!!!! what the bloody fuck... i went to kona website and they got TONS of fucking bikes... i'm 5'5", 144lbs and i just want a strong mountain bike... what should i look for??? help me choose...
@NeoQuello i have a 2009 shred, it's a hardtail (built for dirt jumps), but it's very strong i ride it everywhere, only thing i suggest is hydraulic brakes.
Own a 2004 Blast and it has served me well. Ridden from Washington, Northern California, Moab, Connecticut, Rhode Island. If I ever decide to upgrade, it will definitely be another Kona! But for now I will just replace bits and pieces of my Blast.

Funny vid. My Kona Coiler Dee-Lux has served me well. Also had a 99 Stab Dee-Lux with a Monster-T back in the day.

Dewey, I'm not sure they should let you out in the wilderness on your own like that :-)
