not sure if its just part of a dream, but in the "dream" I found I could fly by just breathing in & off I would go; high, low, fast or slow, likewise when I felt I was falling I could slow myself down and stop just above the ground. Every experience was very lucid and would stay with me for hours after I woke up. I don't know if this is AP or not. Sometimes it was great and other times a bit scary.
This is an amazing experience I know a few things to do astral projection if you say LAAA RAAAA, LAAAA RAAAA, A a lot times before you sleep at day or night so you can go out your body.
I been AP for a few years now at first i didnt understand it, and i tought i was having night terrors. Now i can control my movement, wake up time, destination and speed.
Ive had many dreams of flying and falling.I used to lucid dream all of the time but they never seemed like anything more than a dream.I did however suffer from anxiety years ago and drank alot.I had some strange experiances when sleeping with sleep parallasis and one time a feeling of almost being seperate from my body but I would just sway around like I was drunk never really having any controll.Ive also had a few dreams of feeling like I was dieing and began travelling at great speed.
its not as hard as you think and its an amazing experience. trick to get yourself started or to induce them is to visualize yourself floating over a beautiful place or anywhere you wish to go... before you go to sleep at night.
Starting with audio assists is fine, though it's easy via this method to develop a mental dependency on them. There are those who, via years of practice, can be out of their body in just a couple of minutes without tapes or aids of any kind. That should be the real goal.
