Yeah, pretty much. Elika had died, so her father made a deal with Ahriman to bring her back to life. But she felt she had to keep Ahriman trapped so she used the light that kept her alive to heal the lands from the corruption.
So Elika was dead to begin with and her father gave her the light of the entire world to bring her back to life and when she restored some of the world she was slowly dying again, and now that she got rid of all the darkness and restored all the light, the light couldnt keep her alive anymore because it was out in the world. Right?
