@ForeverComplaining No this was not an attack on whitney. I mean I am A siouxsie and the banshees fan. Siouxsie sioux for instance used to sing in extreme high range and had an intense voice. To this day she still rocks it on stage at the age of 54 but she doesn't try to sing the old songs with the same notes either. If this were Siouxsie doing this on stage I would say the same thing. Avoid the notes that people will ostracize you over. People remember flaws not perfection.

@nikaledesma Celine has been a lot smarter over the years about not overusing her voice. I know Whitney, for one, definitely had some ridiculously rigorous tour schedules over the years. Therefore Celine hasn't had nodules and the other issues that Whitney and Mariah have faced vocally. She's created more longevity.
i think is not because her voice is gone or damaged , it's because she was singing a lot of songs and there is a determined time that the voice gets tired and difficult to sing as you used to, i'm a singer too and sometimes when i sing high notes makes my voice sounds like hoarse. But also her age makes her sounds a bit tired but her voice still good.

@DaNtertaynr no your not the only one who noticed. a lot of times she will have eighther background vocals or pre recorded vocals on that one note. not always though sometimes its a combination of two of them such as the performance in newcastle she sang the high note, sydney she sang it, stavenger she sang it, i think birmingham but im not sure. so she does do it sometimes but not always oh and in dublin performances.

na, she will get it back, her vocals are still Healing from when her ex abused her with Cocain and shit. But even now she can still sing all the versus' in this song pretty good. But she still trys her best to be there for her fans and give them a live performance. She still has that stage personality that made her one of the best female live performers of her time. But she still sings 1000 times better then all of us so none of u should really be complaining.

@nikaledesma Celine has been a lot smarter over the years about not overusing her voice. I know Whitney, for one, definitely had some ridiculously rigorous tour schedules over the years. Therefore Celine hasn't had nodules and the other issues that Whitney and Mariah have faced vocally. She's created more longevity.

i think is not because her voice is gone or damaged , it's because she was singing a lot of songs and there is a determined time that the voice gets tired and difficult to sing as you used to, i'm a singer too and sometimes when i sing high notes makes my voice sounds like hoarse. But also her age makes her sounds a bit tired but her voice still good.

I actually like this. Although her voice isn't what it used to be, it hasn't completely disappeared either. She is still a great singer and if people are true Whitney fans like they say that they are, then they will love and accept her no matter what. Shit happens to people everyday whether it's good or bad, and she made a few bad choices. Oh well, get over it! She's let that go and is trying to get back on track! I always loved Whitney but just loving her does not erase the facts. She did not sound good at all. If you did not know her and someone claimed they could sing as good as Whitney and sang like that , would you still feel the same about that unknown person? Probably not! I am also a singer and can tell you that the voice she had was a gift from god. She will never sound the same it was not a voice that was trained into sounding that good. She may can out sing other people but not the old her.

@DaNtertaynr no your not the only one who noticed. a lot of times she will have eighther background vocals or pre recorded vocals on that one note. not always though sometimes its a combination of two of them such as the performance in newcastle she sang the high note, sydney she sang it, stavenger she sang it, i think birmingham but im not sure. so she does do it sometimes but not always oh and in dublin performances.
